What is YoWorld Streaming?

• This feature allows you to stream YoWorld live from our servers. This is similar to something like Netflix where you don't actually download the movie you're watching, but instead, are streaming it from Netflix's servers.

What will this change?

• You will notice a different screen when YoWorld is loading. Some players may experience the loading period taking anywhere from 30-60 seconds longer than normal. You may also experience some performance and quality issues. There also might be a bit of lag between your input and what is reflected in-game.
  
  
  • If you click "Download YoWorld" on the screen below, you will get the YoWorld Desktop App. If you click "continue streaming on flash player free version of YoWorld" you will be taken to YoWorld Streaming
    

Who will be using YoWorld Streaming?

• All YoFans playing through Firefox and Chrome will automatically be using YoWorld Streaming.

What if I don’t use those browsers?

• You can download the YoWorld Desktop App and play normally through that. Or you can download the browsers from the links below. Otherwise, the game will be inaccessible until HTML5 is released.

When will HTML5 be launching?

• Currently, we are working with a date of mid-January. But that is tentative and may change.

I’m already on the Desktop App, so what does that mean for me?

• You can continue to play and enjoy YoWorld the same as you have been without any interruption at all!

Very Slow Loading?

Try refreshing the webpage. If that doesn’t help, download the Desktop App from the links above.

Poor image quality?

This is expected for some players. There is no way to fix this other than getting the Desktop App.

Other issues?

Please report them in this thread for us to investigate!

I haven't been able to use the desktop app in over a week now iv'e been logging on to yoworld using the facebook gameroom
which of tonight has also gone i managed to log onto yoworld tonight by clicking the play yoworld at the top of this forum. Please explain to me what i can use a working desktop app and not have to use this forum to keep logging on

Update: There is an issue with the game going to a whitescreen periodically for some players. This is being investigated.

Using Chrome browser I clicked the link to continue on to streaming all the way at the bottom of the 'pop up notice'.. and the game wouldn't load. It kept trying to load over and over, but wouldn't. I refreshed page three times and the same thing; game wouldn't load!

it's 3:32PM now..
Status Quo.. on Chrome .. won't load..
I got the snake.. then the pop up notice.. and chose the link all the way at the bottom to use the sreaming.. and zip.. nada.. just continuously LOADS..
