So, out of curiosity, I tried through Chrome and was surprised that the speed and graphic quality are fine. There is a slightly jerky movement to my avi, but other than that, no difference.
I'm not sure though what will happen if I uninstall flash from my computer. If the flash is streaming from a copy on your server, I'm guessing an uninstall locally would have no effect on YoWorld. True?

i haven't uninstalled flash yet but my chrome was pretty ropey. it loaded ok but the fuzziness on n off does my head in. if i look at a pop-up it will then after a second or two show it not blurry... if its a moving pop-up like the one we had with the throne and its fireworks then it was permanently blurry. does the desktop app run without flash? i just downloaded it and its perfect... fast and no blurry

I play another game that uses flash (shhhh!) and so don't feel comfortable uninstalling flash just yet. They say they're ready to go and no changes are needed on our part, so maybe tomorrow on the uninstall. I'm just guessing though that BVG is keeping a master copy of flash on their servers and that copy will be shared with all going forward so uninstall should be ok. Not sure though.
The blurriness sounds like your graphics card may be out of date. Again, just a guess. Not sure why streaming would change that, but a new card might help. Also, you can try various changes to your monitor's resolution through your control panel and see if that helps with the graphics quality. Might help, couldn't hurt and you can always undo if it's a disaster.
My other question to BVG is I heard Adobe, the maker of flash, will begin "blocking" flash starting on Jan 12 I think they said. I am a little concerned that that would thwart the streaming fix. Oh my, the day is at hand. What shall we do?

if the desktop app works without flash why are we not just all staying on that instead of HTML... or are we limited in some way on the app?!
