Hey YoFans,

Extra Life 2016 is upon us! Every year, Big Viking Games takes a break from making games (like YoWorld) to play them for a good cause. Several Vikings will be playing for 24 hours straight in support of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (read more here), starting TOMORROW, Sept 9th, at 3pm!

Many of us have set up donation pages and video streams to help make it the most successful and engaging year yet, but if you feel inclined to contribute to our efforts as a whole, you can find the general donation page for BVG by clicking here. The donations from this page will go towards the kids at Children's Health Foundation, which is the children's hospital right here in London, Ontario.

Team Members - (We'll be posting links to their individual donation pages on game-day, so make sure to come back and check!)

Jacob - Senior Producer

Mr. Jacob will be starting his day with Overwatch, playing a bit of Overwatch for dinner, and then ending things off with a nice serving of Overwatch.

Trevor - Community Manager

Trevor usually takes Extra Life to check some games off of his "to-do" list. He'll be tackling The Witcher 3, Dying Light, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and then struggling to rank up in Overwatch.

Andrew - Player Happiness Engineer

Andrew will be spending his day with one of his favorite pastimes: Rocket League, sandwiched by Overwatch of course (can you tell we like this game?)

Sarah - Player Happiness Engineer

Sarah, one of our newest Player Happiness Engineers, will be exploring the beautiful landscapes that World of Warcraft has to offer!

Nate - Software Developer

Nate will spending a great deal of time playing some of his classic go-to games, including Elder Scrolls Online, or Heroes of the Storm, but you'll mostly find him playing RPGs (Role-Playing Games).

Tom - Software Developer

Tom is one of our YoWorld Developers, and an avid board-game enthusiast! He'll be setting up to play Exploding Kittens, Fury of Dracula, Netrunner and will be firing up Heroes of the Storm on his computer, and Vacillation 5.

Winston - Artist

Winston is going to be setting up his virtual reality set (HTC Vive) and we can't wait! Also on his list are Overwatch, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and the tabletop game: Feng Shui 2!

Cameron - Product Manager

Cameron will be playing Overwatch, World of Warcraft, Counter Strike (Zombie Mod) and any other social games that allow himto yell at/with my coworkers!

Robyn - Producer

Robyn will be doing everything she can in World of Warcraft and will be joining in on whatever group games get together!

Jon - IT Manager

Jon is our fearless leader on Extra Life day! He works on setting things up, making sure the video feed is running properly, and will be playing lots of World of Warcraft, Rocket League, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo, and Overwatch. Lots of Blizzard games!

Nicholas - Associate Marketing Manager

Nicholas will be in charge of game-day events in our Toronto office! He plans on mostly enjoying board games, but has goals to try and burn through a bunch of games on the classic Super Nintendo and Nintendo 64 consoles (particularly Super Bomberman)!

Vanessa - Artist

Vanessa is one of our artists for Fish World, and plans to build some sprawling cities in Cities: Skylines, relax with some farming in Stardew Valley, explore Tamriel in Elder Scrolls Online, destroy some monsters in Painkiller, and become a monster in Dead by Daylight!

Jason - Software Developer

Jason is a committed Extra Lifer who can't wait to dig into World of Warcraft, rock out with Rocksmith, and perform the "Safety Dance" in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

Chris - Associate Producer

Chris is one of our non-YoWorld Vikings that plans to jump into Star Citizen, Star Trek Online (for all your Trekkies out there), and might delve into StarCraft!

David - Lead Artist

This is David's 5th year participating in Extra Life! He'll be playing Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Hyper Light Drifter, Starbound, No Man's Sky, and (like many others) World of Warcraft!

YAY!! I look forward to this every year!!
