Hey YoFans,

I'm sure many of you remember that we did some testing for YoWorld Streaming last week. After successfully testing it with everyone, we are now ready to roll it out fully!

YoWorld Streaming will be going live TODAY at 20:00 UTC(Game Time), 3:00 PM ET, 12:00 PM PT.

What is YoWorld Streaming?

• This feature allows you to stream YoWorld live from our servers. This is similar to something like Netflix where you don't actually download the movie you're watching, but instead, are streaming it from Netflix's servers.

What will this change?

• You will notice a different screen when YoWorld is loading. Some players may experience the loading period taking anywhere from 30-60 seconds longer than normal. You may also experience some performance and quality issues. There also might be a bit of lag between your input and what is reflected in-game.
  
  
  • If you click "Download YoWorld" on the screen below, you will get the YoWorld Desktop App. If you click "continue streaming on flash player free version of YoWorld" you will be taken to YoWorld Streaming
    

Who will be using YoWorld Streaming?

• All YoFans playing through Firefox and Chrome will automatically be using YoWorld Streaming.

What if I don’t use those browsers?

• You can download the YoWorld Desktop App and play normally through that. Or you can download the browsers from the links below. Otherwise, the game will be inaccessible until HTML5 is released.

When will HTML5 be launching?

• Currently, we are working with a date of mid-January. But that is tentative and may change.

I’m already on the Desktop App, so what does that mean for me?

• You can continue to play and enjoy YoWorld the same as you have been without any interruption at all!

Very Slow Loading?

Try refreshing the webpage. If that doesn’t help, download the Desktop App from the links above.

Poor image quality?

This is expected for some players. There is no way to fix this other than getting the Desktop App.

Other issues?

Please report them in this thread for us to investigate!

Update: There is an issue with the game going to a whitescreen periodically for some players. This is being investigated.

Will all our items be secured?

Hello,
can play the whole Family with one Computer and one Desktop. I mean not all together, but one after the next ???

I already using the Desk Top app version , will it still work if I no longer have flash player down loaded on my computer as my Adobe tells me they are about to disable it and I need to delete it for security reasons. So my questions is after I delete flash from my computer will my desk top app still work

I use an iPad...will this work for me, or am I screwed?

I am on Chromium OS Linux Mint 18.1
At the moment the issue I have:
- I am not able to change my outfit.

I can decorate and visit buddies

Steaming is laggy and blurry so this is going to get players abit mad about this now need to download the app

What happens when you try to change your outfit?

it's 3:08PM here in NYC (ET zone) ..
Using Chrome browser I clicked the link to continue on to streaming all the way at the bottom of the 'pop up notice'.. and the game wouldn't load. It kept trying to load over and over, but wouldn't. I refreshed page three times and the same thing; game wouldn't load!
Still needs work! .

it's 3:32PM now..
Status Quo.. on Chrome .. won't load..
I got the snake.. then the pop up notice.. and chose the link all the way at the bottom to use the sreaming.. and zip.. nada.. just continuously LOADS..

Well I got in on my old Dell XP but had to use Mozilla browser to do it. The Chrome browser did NOT offer me the option of streaming. So far it seems somewhat normal but the forums do not. They are very bare bones - blue lines and type.

As I see no way to edit my previous post, I will add that coming over here to post interrupted my connection and I now have to start over.

There has been nothing changed about the forums, so I'm not sure why you would be seeing anything other than what you normally get.

Can we just have the option to turn it on or off for the ones who can still use flash and rather use that?

I chose continue streaming and it wouldn't let me. I'm using Chrome. Also, I can't collect hot dogs. What will be done about this? I need the hot dogs to make decent coins in the factory.

Hi
I can't change dress, the one I have on is stucked on me I can only put another one on and it layered on the one I had, I have even tried to choose the "no one option", it displayed I had none on but I still have the same dress on.
The dress is the one I have on my avatar The Pierre New Year Gray
I can change hair though

Edit to add:

I am able to change complete outfit I mean I can change the current outfit with another already saved
The problem is changing the dress to make a new one

I use Puffin browser. Does that means I'm screwed?

Got the pop up just now-deleted older desktop app and am now loading the new one-thanks!
