Hey YoFans!

We're very pleased to announce the release our much-hinted at, long-awaited update to character customization! Excited? Keep reading.

Hair and clothing have been converted from a per slot limit to an overall equip limit. By default, you will now be able to equip any 15 clothing/hair you like items at once (18 for existing players). This means you can now layer multiple items to create brand new complex looks. Want to equip 3 necklaces, 2 pairs of wings, 3 handhelds and 2 hats? Go right ahead!

To allow you better control over the new system and clothing/hair customization in general, we’ve made the following upgrades to the window:

• Items you have equipped are outlined in pink, and shown at the top of the item list.
• The item you have currently highlighted is outlined in yellow.
• The quantity you own of an item is now shown at the bottom right of the item panel, instead of listing multiple copies and taking up space on the screen.
• A number to show which layer an item is on is shown at the bottom left of the item panel.
• You can reorder the way you have items layered by single clicking them to bring them to the top.
• You can double click to remove an item, or single click if it is already highlighted.
• The item list is now alphabetized to make finding things easier.
• The number of items you have equipped in each category is shown to the left of the category tab.
• A new "Clear Items" button will remove everything you are wearing, including hair and makeup (but not eyes, mouth etc)
• A new "Open Salon" button makes it easy to check out the latest hairstyles.
• A new "Add More" button allows you to permanently increase your maximum number of equipped items for YoCoins/YoCash.
• Ears, eyebrows, eyes, face shapes, facial hair, mouths, noses and skin are excluded from the equip limit, as you can only equip one of those at a time.

Some other important things to note are:

• There is still a hierarchy on how your character is equipped. For example, jackets will always go on top of shirts, and the bottom part of dresses will always go over pants.
• There is currently a max limit of 30 on item slots, to ensure the game runs smoothly. If there’s demand for this to be increased, we can investigate more.
• There is a small bug surrounding equipping a car or other rideable item if you have been at max items. Refreshing the game fixes it, and it will be resolved soon.

Going forward, we'll be improving this system even more with the addition of outfits. Outfits will be an awesome new way to save and load your custom item combinations quickly and easily! We know you’ve wanted this one for a long time, so rest assured it'll be coming.
