Hey Lachlan! Yes it is perfectly possible and very common when you climb the the 'wild ladder' in the way that you did. I'll explain how the game works in comparison to the others.
First you start off with your usual tiles. The treasure chests, the scatter tiles, the coin tiles and you will notice that the bell, horseshoe and cart of gold do not have "wild" written on them initially. You will start off with only the diamonds having 'wild' written on them.
Before I continue any further I have to say that the ladder automatically reduces back to the bottom if you change the betting amount. For example, you cannot climb to the top of the ladder with the lowest bet, then wager the highest bet when you've reached the peak. Each betting amount must be achieved separately.
Let us call your first Spin "Spin 1". On Spin 1 if you win any amount of coins (big or small) you will notice that the first green bar goes up by 1 showing you have 1 consecutive win. If Spin 2 or any spin after this happens to earn you nothing, your consecutive spins will reset for your current bet. However! if Spin 2 also earns you coins you will notice that the bells now have transformed into wild tiles too making it easier to earn money.
If Spin 3 & 4 are win spins again, you notice now that the horseshoe tiles are now also wild tiles.
If you are lucky enough to reach 6 wins in a row you will now have 4 different tiles containing "wild" on them. Meaning not only has the chances of you winning increased but also the amount you win will always be a mega or super win hence explaining the picture you posted
Hope this has helped you and anybody else reading this thread. Much love!
