Does anyone else thing "sending 10 gifts" as a challenge is patently unfair? Every other challenge is within our own talents to manage, but sending gifts is outside of our ability to control. This is something that has to be requested for us to do. We can request them, but we can't choose to send them, it is a "passive" activity, so how can it be a "challenge" activity? If we could choose friends and then send them, I could understand it but we can't.

What I have noticed is that on days where "Gifts to Friends" is not required, there are a LOT more opportunities to send gifts all day long. When it's required to fulfill a challenge, it's like crickets. I will check constantly (refreshing the app in between) and there are almost no gift requests. It will literally take all day to complete the challenge, sending one or two at most every few hours, and sometimes I can't event get there because there's nothing to respond to.

SAME!!! It’s not our fault others don’t request gifts for us to send. Either make it that we can send gifts without requests, or take this off the challenge.

Completely agree!!! This is a completely unfair “challenge” since there’s no way we have any control or ability to complete this quest on our own.

I. have noticed that too!

What is even more unfair is the fact that often if you send gifts from the main game, you aren’t properly credited on the companion app unless you restart the device the game is on, so the game is forced into a restart!!! That is how flawed the app is! And sometimes the request for gifts shows up on the main game, but not on the app!!!

I agree. This new "challenge" plus how the game has slowed down to a painful crawl has turned me off from playing... and that included coming on to watch ads.
Hopefully, someone at BVG takes note!

Completely agree!! On days I need to send gifts I’m lucky to get 3-4 in the entire 24 hrs. In days when I don’t have to as part of challenge then I’m sending 4-5 each time I go into the game. Super unfair challenge.

One of the reasons I came here is to find out if there's a thread anywhere of people who want to be buddies with more people who can request gifts. Sounds like it might not matter, though.

Maybe there are fewer people needing gifts those days because people who don't normally send are sending, so not as many are needed overall?

I am nearly maxed on buddies in Yo World. I have two particular Yo friends that I talk to each day on the phone. They tell me when the request "gifts" in the Mobile game. But they rarely..and I do mean rarely...show up in my list of requests. I hardly ever can meet the requirement to send 10 gifts to people. Why is it that everyone that requests gifts does not show up?

Noticed the same thing-on days when you have to send gifts to complete a challenge, there are far fewer opportunities to send them. I thought it was just me. And I agree that it’s unfair, how is it a “challenge” for us when it’s under the control of others to request? You can’t just work long and hard at it like other challenges, you can only wait and pray.

I just don't even bother with the challenges that day.

keep logging into the game and snag the gifts to friends there... And reload your app game and more requests may load. They are a PAIN!!!

I missed out completing the challenge the other day by not being able to send one friend gift.
I had sent 9 out of the 10.
I want to know why it don't register on the app if we honor the friends request in the game?
Is it just me or do other send those in the game too and not see it count in the app?

I got the 10 friends thing again today, but I don't even think I have 10 friends on the app. I have been requesting gifts so the few friends I have will possibly be able to complete it. And I have received some gifts, but not a one has ever requested gifts

Same and I have more than 10 friends. I'll request gifts to help them but I usually only get two back. It makes me wonder if they are even going through.

This is what? The sixth or seventh day this month we've needed to send gifts? Is it always so often or is it because a pet is on the line?

I only started the app recently. So far I have only had two quests that didn't require friends but even then the rewards have only been coins in all choices. Today's doesn't need buddies so I'm crossing my fingers!

And. . . it was all coins again today *sigh*
