I like it because we weren'table to change our name in the old forum, but we can here.

I think it's great for those that kept wanting to change their forum names in the past.
This way it can be whatever they want it to be.

Only thing is...now we know when people are getting all silly in game when we all see what name they've chosen when they change it. Before we'd have to click on their Yo. com profile to see their in game name. Now, we see it on their posts here.

I guess it has pros and cons. Could get confusing with name changes, I guess if you really want to keep track of someone you can jot down their id #.

On the other hand, I like that it's linked. There were always people that hid behind the fact that their forum name was different than in game name. With them cracking down on alts as well I find there's more accountability this way.

However it doesn't affect me, I haven't changed my in game name since 2008

Will be confusing for those that change their name constantly, I haven't changed my in game name for years though.

Personally I don't mind it. It'll be funny to see the stalker come out in some people though with the names changes. I envision excel files being created now with player ID numbers.

Doesn't bother me. I have a hard time though keeping track of my FB friends and knowing their in game names! I try to keep my in game name very similar to my FB so that folks know who I am when they see me in game.
