Does anyone have any idea about how long it takes to receive a response to a help support ticket?
It states that it will take some time to receive a response due to high volume. It has been over 24 hrs since I submitted mine. I was just curious about how long it has been taking other players to receive a response.

I sent one that was not a rush issue and heard back within a week. The reply was from someone who seemed very well informed, was extremely cordial, and their response was worth the wait!

Depending on the issue you are having, it can be tough to wait, but I think they are trying to put out many fires and suggest waiting at least a few days if possible. Good luck!

Last I heard they had 16000 tickets and that was about a week ago........

I had the same experience. Also, once I received a reply, the issue had been resolved. It didn't require another weeks worth of back and forth like I've heard happened with Zynga.
