I browse through the trading section of the forum lots and I keep seeing people buying stuff that want you to PM them prices..
I am just curious why people want that? Anyone know?
My only conclusion is if someone ends up posting a really cheap price that someone doesn't either tell them or try to buy from them?

That's what it reads like to me. Say PM so I can get a good deal but it might be that they lwave thread and pms are easier to spot.

Personally I ask for sellers to pm me so I make sure I will read it ASAP.

People on trading section usually hope to find cheap things imo. So if someone posts a high price the next person that comes along might think wow its that much?

Makes me post a price anyway without PM....I know their trick

I'm not sure I understand... Do you mean that they do it so sellers won't be worried about asking high prices?

Lets say I'm asking for something and you come along and advertise a price of 500K when guide says 200K....the next person that comes along might see your 500K price and ask around the same thing instead of guide price.
But there is always someone who sells stuff cheap weather it be they don't care or just don't know guides are seriously outdated....which an agent admitted to by the way.

Xmm maybe for a better deal or just to see that someone is selling/buying the item than have to find the thread to check.
