Hey.....I was looking for a less expensive computer option for playing yoville. Currently, my computer is......let's just say it's old. I want a light laptop mostly for yoville & blogging. Wondered if anyone had a Chromebook & what they thought of it.

I have a chrome book, it's about a year old. Works ok with Yo. I do have flash crashes some times and totally prefer my new iMac anyday! But The CB is good for the most part.

For $900 you can get the MacBook Air. I know that is not cheap but I do not have to pay for virus protection and I don't have problems with the operating system at all so to me it is worth saving up for. It is light weight and does a good job. I also have an ipad and don't like that at all. I have to use a photon browser on that and it is not the same. I have used p.c.s for over 20 years. My husband was one of the top programmers in this country for many years. He also switched to a Mac.

I swear by my mac. I will never go back to pcs that continually crash w/ viruses. Good to know the chrome supports the game. It may work for me on those days away from my mac. :-) btw were pcs even available 20 yrs ago? My o my does time fly!! :-D

I was thinking about getting a B&N Nook. Anybody know if this will work with YoWorld? http://www.barnesandnoble.com/u/nook-hd ... /379004124

I mean, you don't really need a great PC to play yoworld since it's a flash/browser game. I have a laptop that costed me $700 and it's designed to play games, but I'm talking about other games that you buy that need a half decent computer to run properly.

Anyways I have a ASUS laptop, I've never had issues with yoworld at all, and price tag would be around $700-$900 depending on which one you find.

Good luck

I want to say no it won't support yoworld. I don't have this product so I can't be for sure, but unless it has flash support or there is an app for this product somewhere that does have flash support, then it probably won't work.

Like the Kindle, which i use and the nook is pretty much the same, I can only go to forums or FB, But cannot get in game and actually play. So i would have to say no. ;)
