I just bought 2 pets that supposedly had their permanent licenses, but of course they did not. -_-

Thanks a lot, seller whose name I've already forgotten.

They were not bad prices either way, and I can definitely resell them for what I bought them for, so all is not lost, but I really did want the licensed pets. I'm not sure why the lying was necessary, either. The prices were good enough that she could have just said unlicensed and someone would have bought them that way.

Oh well... You take the good with the bad, I guess!

Just be careful, ladies and gentlemen. There's really no way to check prior to purchasing if the pets are fully licensed or not.

The sad thing is, I probably won't believe it from now on either, although I have had 2 different trades in the past where the seller said the animals were licensed and it was true. Ah well, a few bad apples can ruin the basket!

Did they tell you it was licensed? That's just awful. So sorry that happened to you... :(

It's unfortunate that there are dishonest people like that.

Im confused though. Can't you buy a pet from someone and then just license it yourself? I buy all my pets in store so I'm not sure, but could you do that?

You could, but it costs yocash. Also, the licensing feature does not seem to be working ATM. I have heard from players that there is a glitch where you pay the yocash but when you refresh the permanent license is removed. Supposedly, BVG is working on it. So the only way to have permanently licensed pets right now, to my knowledge, is to have had them licensed before this glitch developed.

Yes, exactly. You can buy a temporary license for 1k and the pet follows you for a day, or you can pay yocash and buy a permanent license.

The seller said the 2 pets were permanently licensed, but they were not. Oh well. It happens, I guess! Just can't be too careful out there.

Ohh right.. I understand. I've never bought one second hand and only a few of mine are licensed, so I wasn't sure. I wasn't sure if you bought them unlicensed secondhand if you could never license them at all, if they weren't purchased licensed. Thanks for answering, I was curious. My question was really besides the point anyways though, if you paid for a licensed one, you should have got it. I'm sorry you didnt get that.

I wouldn't waste my YC on it until I was sure it was fixed and my YC wouldn't go to waste. I hope they can get it fixed soon. :)
