The reason zynga was closing down yo was because it wasn't making enough money they didn't give a ........what players wanted, they were just willing to shut shop...the players of yo begged for BVG to buy yoville now yoworld to save their beloved game, now its saved all i'm reading is negative comments if its not one thing its the next. Do some of you ppl just expect to sit down and play for free while BVG covers the maintenance cost for you to play? then complaining about the quality of items for pete's sake give the ppl a chance if you are bored now, don't play for awhile come back when you think things have improved, everything takes time, i can honestly say the game runs pretty smooth most of the time. no problem with hackers.and the cost of items..answer this have you ever seen zynga put more than one yocoin hair in the salon..i don't think so...BVG is trying to be fair while making money which every company is basically about..MAKING MONEY...I understand some countries currencies wont allow for them to buy yocash as the dollar value may be too low and others are going through hard times and i myself intend to support BVG when a furniture theme comes out so others will benefit...just my two cent..keep clam and play yoworld, give BVG a chance, we waited longer for change ..think about it.!!!

Zynga was closing down yo because of Zynga's own inability to be a decent business IMO. But that is just my opinion, and I agree with ya OP. I'm baffled and a bit appalled to see so much complaining so soon as well. I am firm about giving BVG a fair chance. But I feel as though a lot of people have already taken this reincarnation for granted. I see the angle where a lot of long-term players, and players in general ARE waiting for furniture, before they are getting too involved with the game again on that kind of level. That's understandable, I think. I think it IS just a matter of time. They at BVG have already said they're in the process of hiring 3D designers for the furniture designs. I'm guessing that is because the clothing and hair is 2D and the furniture involves the items getting rotated and is often a different style of art than the clothing and hair. So, patience, folks. Patience. But hear ya on the complainers. I think people are worried they won;t eventually SEE something worth paying for. Again I think it's just a matter of time for that, too.

I think with time BVG will find the sweet spot and all will be good.

This current designer they have is actually pretty good with making clothes and hairs fit on our yo's, much better than Zynga with all the sizing issues they had. The problem is that they are designing in a different style: more cartoonish, sketchy type style.... and yovillers are expecting same style as before. So when BVG figures that out we will have cute items again.

Here is something I posted on the other thread....not everyone is disappointed. I think more are happy than upset.

Here is my opinion, for what it is worth. I for one am not disappointed in BVG. I personally, do not like the badge thing that was released, but not because BVG did anything wrong with recognizing those who support the game, but more because of the already huge divide among some players who do look down on others in this game. Of course after really thinking about it, no matter what, there will always be some players who are just plain ole mean....

As far as people discussing the quality of the items, I don't think it is a quality issue as much as it is a style issue. For years we had the same designers with the company "which shall not be named." Now we have new designers. Yes, it will take some getting use to on our part, but we also need to be fair and realize that they have to have some time to adjust to designing for Yo. It makes me sad to see people say they should do this, or price this way, or design like the "old company" did. Well, "the old company" gave up on us.

I am not a princess type person, so this stuff did not appeal to me personally. But you know what? There was a poll, and they did LISTEN to what the majority voted for. That in itself speaks volumes to me. I am happy that they are giving what people want. So what if it is 90 degrees where I live right now.....It is Yoworld and I can dress like a zombie in May if I want or a popsicle in July....etc Also consider that people from around the world play and although it might be summer to you, for them it might be their winter. I think if people were willing to look at things from others perspectives, there would not be near the issues we have in our community.

As for the pricing, ok it is different than we have had before, and perhaps some of the yc prices are higher than we are use to, but how about we wait and see what a whole outfit costs before we start to scream it is too much? I mean if you can get a costume, shoes, earrings, hair, and accessory for all coins but have to pay 15 yocash for a hat, then it still seems to me that it is cheaper than before. I like that there is tier pricing and that everyone can get something for releases. my mindset is that I do not need every item from every release in the game so if what I want is yocash then I can buy it using my own or buy from events.

I know what I posted is long, but I just feel like we need to be patient. They were up front with us and said we have had a little trouble finding a 3D artist, but one is starting. That tells me furniture is on the horizon. :) The game is nearly free from the troublemakers. We have events and the auction house back. Many of our old friends have returned to the game. Yes, there are still things that need addressed and I think they are doing the best they can. I can not even imagine the condition the game was in when they got it. I think they are trying to fix the mess they bought. So, no I am not disappointed at all. The game I love is here to play, new stuff is coming. Things are being repaired. It might not happen as quickly as some want, but I TRULY believe we are in good hands and there is no where to go but up from here.

It is only their second release. I did find things I liked, even the cloak dress is cute, and much like the Alice Dee/Dum pudgy male and female outfits. And I do want the moose hat, hope it is still layering well with other hats.

Naturally someone that has been playing this game since the Tagged/Myspace days will be a bit displeased and impatient. We played a game that was run by another company for many years. Some of us may be having trouble adjusting to the speed of things. Thanks BVG for informing us of the costs to run the game, etc. but honestly many don't care. I've seen many post on Facebook Trading pages and people just WANT anything a lot faster than BVG can produce. That's really what it boils down to is some just want the game to proceed. Honestly besides going to sales and AH there is nothing to do in the game at the moment. So yes until furniture, and what some consider lower priced better quality items are produced this forum will see a minimum of 20+ rants a day. Sorry if you felt this post was harsh. Just seen way too much kissing up on this forum lately. Someone needs to keep it 100.

Not saying you feel this way but a ton of forum members considering others sharing their opinions and giving criticism on the new items as "complaining" and "whining". This makes many feel afraid of commenting if their opinion goes against the grain. The game will NEVER get better if we are not allowed to share our views without being outcasted.

I think constructive criticism is great way to let BVG know what they can improve on.
But we also to need to realize this is just the start of the creative end of BVG. Everything does
take time to improve on, and I believe with time we will come to love everything BVG releases.
We all won't agree on every item that they release, because we all have different taste.
Do I think people are being abit harsh? yes. But I don't think we should all be hunky dory about items
we feel that aren't great to us. If they expect us to spend real money to buy their products, it has to be
something with nice quality. Though, as I stated.. right now is just the beginning, so stay positive and keep
supporting the company that saved us, and we are able to play to this day!
