I hav'nt played for almost 2 years, didn't know Zynga was trying to close the game down - I'm glad you guys rescued it! I'm sure I've missed a lot, so, can anyone tell me why most of the furniture shops are up there, but closed? It's really frustrating

They were on timers, that's why and Zynga was quick on closing stores last year. Welcome Back.

Zynga had a habit of closing departments that were expired but not removing them from game. We had soooo many themes come through in the course of a year it wasn't even funny!

Most likely they will not reopen.....I would assume that at some point BVG will remove them as they add new themes/items
