I know Greg Thomson you posted about YoWorld Artists for Avatars but it would be cool to see how people are creative for furniture and home ideas! What do you think?

There are some amazing designers on here.

I've wished for more of these since the start of the fashion contests. We only ever had two for game decor, yes?

I know that when I played Sims 1 there were many creators that came up with designs for furniture and add-on that were allowed into the game. Their creations were absolutely amazing, that I thought maybe we could see what the players here could come up with and maybe submit them to Greg and his team and they might use some of the pieces or homes as well. Kind of freshen up the game a bit and get the players excited for it as well.

There is a section on the Board Index called Photo Album. I found many creative avatars, rooms, pictos, etc.

People always create accessories but I've never seen anyone create furniture.

I definitely hope that BVG opens the artistic doorways for furniture designers. Zynga catered to the player-created avatar collections and kept the door slammed shut on the decorating aspect of this game. It would be nice if decorators and placeable designers start to have the same respect as the clothing designers always got.

I would love to see players designs on furniture lines or at least on items and or collectibles. I think we need to get more YoWorld focus in decoration.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one that feels this way. I am not artistic by any means, my artistic ability consists of stick figures and stick flowers lol. I hope the Vikings like this idea or something similar for the wonderful creators in this game. Frida I am not talking about the things they make out of other objects in the game I would love to see their drawings and sketches come to life of furniture. I wish you could go to old Yahoo Sims 1 groups and Sims 2 and see the creations made by the players of the game then you would understand what I was trying to say!

I also play IMVU and their inventory is filled with over 10 million pieces of player-created items.. from homes and rooms, to every piece of furniture you can imagine, player actions (such as dances, poses, etc), anyone can design and enter there creations as long as they are of VIP status (monthly subscription). If your item is approved by the general public then you can sell your items for profit to other players. I always thought Z ignored the artistry of placeable designers. Too much emphasis on the old forums were directed toward avatar designers. I never understood that. I love the player-created designs, don't get me wrong. I'm surely not biatching them out at all, but I personally would hope that BVG opens up the creative lines and throws some focus on the other side of the designing coin.
