I have seen people saying they are buying halloween costumes from 2008/2009 and saving it because it will go up in halloween, or the michael jackson jacket going up on his death date. Someone on another one of my threads said he buys female santas and sells them for double the price every christmas. just wondering if this works

Yes it does but, even though all items do, focus om specifics that will be hot. Santa is smart because xmas yells santa. Snowman 08, as your wishlist says, never does good so avoid that one. For reselling purposes.

Oh haha, I don't really want snowman for reselling purposes but I can understand now that santa is the biggest idea of christmas so it would make sense, but what costume would be most likley to go up in halloween since there is no main costume

Just like real life,you can charge more for Christmas items near Christmas but you can buy them for cheap just after and all the way to the autumn.

I would have assumed traditional costumes like clown, ghost or joker would go up but those ones are very nice also

A week or two before Christmas will be your best bet.
But the whole month of December is prime time really.

As person above me said, astro, pirare and such do good. Also, you can buy furniture, 2008 rares do great and I've bought those in previous years. If you don't have enough coins then focus on following years' halloween. You just need to know which item will go uo but just looking at an item you should be able to tell if it is awesome. If it is, it will go up.

About ghost and Joker I am with you, Jokester is one of the best costumes. Remember though, people like their retros and people like their hairs. If they can afford an 08 they most likely have retros. Jokester doesn't show anything other than handheld, same as ghost. Clown lets you wear retros but no hair or hat. Have those things in mind, some costumes are hot and avoid retros (pirate for example) but not hairs. Usually costumes that let you wear the most thing AND look cool go up.

Oh to me joker is my favorite costume because it already comes with the hair/hat so i dont need to buy more haha, and it is very well detailed but pretty damn expensive
