What to do when someone has my ip? Some random hacker guy came in and was just standing their and said he had my ip and then he put it out in the chat. I reported him though but should i change my password or something? and he also got other peoples' ips.

He's probably just a little script kiddie. You can always change your password and such just to be on the safe side though.

hmmmmm I wonder what kind of program that kid was using, bc I was under the impression the fixed so that none of those programs could work ... In any case, Im sure whatever it was won't be around any for long.

I hope they get rid of it.. I'm unfamiliar with this hacking stuff, so i don't really know the damage he can do if he gets a hold of my IP... such a shame that hackers still even exist in this game -.-

Not hard to do.... Just saying. Anyone can obtain it, they can't do anything with it though, so don't worry.

yeah people can still scan anyone, but theres nothing they can do with the info. they're just lame idiots trying to scare people. dont react to them cos thats what they want. or, just laugh at them and tell them that trick is soooo 2011 *yawn*

Sounds like they're harmless, but I'd play it safe anyways. But that's just me...I'm paranoid and scared of losing all my stuff.

Yeah it is another script kid i am sure had one telling everyone how many coins they had ect.. in front of Altons today . This sort of thing has happened since the beginning of yo. As said above i hear it all the time and i am still here after 6 years.

Well, the code next to your name is kind of like your ip also, and It is public. Your facebook can be EASILY tracked with that little code next to your name.

Technically they can see where your computer is located (not a direct pin point, just an area where the ip is coming from), and if they have the tools they could do illegal attacks such as DDoS but usually people just say this as a threat to get what they want and it never happens.
