I could have sworn you could buy that yellow party lamp from the store, but I checked the lamp section and Home Goods, etc but it failed to appear

It's a level up gift.

For a while, back when AH was first introduced by Z, you could find them in there on occasion.

I used to have 4 of them. :lol:

And yes, there was a glitch where starter items could be listed in the AH. Got stuck with a bunch of 50s starter stuff that way. Crappy thing was they couldn't be relisted. Wish I'd bought some more lamps though.

I heard now when you sign up they give you four of those lamps.... I found mine recently and the black light feature was gone.

It's a starter item. But my absolute favorite one. I always have that lamp hidden in my current favorite room. So that I can turn it on to change the room color. However the lamp is hideous so I hide it behind things or I hide it behind the chat bar tab partially off the page. Either way I love this lamp LOL If i could I would have one hiding in every room.
