I allow them to do what they want with it in all honesty. Like if I gift someone something and they get tired of it and want something new! I just want them to be happy!

It does annoy me but it's their choice.

I don't sell ANY gift that is or has been given to me, I know it's others choice to sell. Gifts from others are too valuable to me to even consider selling. :)

like ASAP? that's pretty rude IMO!

I haven't sold a gift in YEARS that I know of, but I'd understand if it was like a few months down the line and she's really over the item. Like sometimes I love something and then months later I'm poor and want something much more than I want that... does that make sense? BUT right away is rude

this could go either way imo, if i gift someone then it's no longer mine and they can do what they want with it, sell it, keep it, pass it on, but then on the other hand id feel abit like wtf if it was something theyd been wanting a long time then sold it soon as i gifted it

Unless the person goes on and on about how an item is their Oh my god I will wet my pants if i get this-item just to turn around and sell it, I don't mind if a person sells a gift I gave them.
If something I gifted helps them achieve their goal, then I am happy.

HI, HiMom

Different folks have different feelings on this. I for one don't mind if people sell gifts, because here is how I look at it:

If they are selling something in order to buy something they want more, then I'm still contributing to that indirectly, so it's still a gift, it's just more like exchanging a sweater you got gifted for a different colour.

Just my feeling anyway.

i don't care what ppl do with a gift once i gift it to them it's theirs.

Better they sell it then have it collect dust, if it's something they don't wear.
