I have been helping a new player out for a couple days. I thought we were friends. I gave him furniture, clothes, 08 re released costumes and explaining how to play the game and get coins and give decorating tips. I went to his place today and asked him how is your day going .....he kicked me out .....I said to myself oh no he did not just do that. Well I thought maybe it was a mistake giving him the benefit of doubt. I knew I could not go back for a hour. So I thought I will try later. Well he unfriended me also. I said no more ..... I guess I will just ignore a begging noob anymore. Tired of being taken advantage of.

I'm so sorry that has happen to you. Players that take advantage puts in a bad
name for the new players. Us experienced players are weary on helping because
being afraid of situations of just this.

What a jerk! I'm sorry this happened to you. This kind of thing definitely makes older players think twice before helping new players.

I usually just go to sales and buy random stuff and add a little extra money.

It happens, but as another Yo put it recently....

I'd rather get scammed once in a while rather than give up faith in all people.

yes, lella, it does make we older players think twice. I have stopped giving completely to new players who ask for stuff in an event. I go to altons a lot and check badges on someone who looks like they might be new and if they are I give them a few items. I hate to think these
might be long time players with an alt trying to be selfish and greedy, but I give anyway. shame on them if they are doing this.

Yesh that I tried to help out before and just got used as well so I don't help out as much as I use to. Atleast I send gifts to some now and then

The trouble with this game is you'll never know who's behind that avatar.. could be a kid who's folks never taught him/her to say thank you after receiving a gift. Don't think too much about it.. be glad you have a kind heart..not everyone possess your awesome personality!
