Hi as a long time player, I would first just like to say Thank you once again for saving this game;secondly I would like to say that the designs your team has put out so far in the clothing and hair categories are fantastic..I LOOOOVE the hoodies most of all;thirdly I understand why it is taking longer to roll out the 3d items required for a furniture release and am truly embarrassed to read so many complaints by those who refuse to even try and understand the situation.

Now here is my suggestion. So many people are crying for a new theme asap. I groan every single time I see it requested. I suggested on the fb page long ago that rather than a theme your decorating fans would probably enjoy a yodepot update more. While I am aware many want specific items returned,I seriously dont and the reasoning is simple.. items released by the previous owner who treated this community with such disregard is something I am no longer interested in spending any form of money on.
Grass,dirt and snow tiles of various sizing,color and shapes should be an easy enough add and I have no doubt your team will eventually release something along these lines. There are currently two types of pavers in yodepot that I have made much use of,however it would be sweet if you could expand upon these two designs with other colors and patterns. Same can be said for the flowers,trees,shrubs.

Many have also pleaded for the NYC wall panels. They were nice,specifically those that could be placed anywhere in a room but I did have issues with trying to place items on top of them at times so if you are planning to do wall panels in the future..and I certainly hope you are,then please keep in mind the layering and placement issues involved.I also have no problem with a price tier on such items but to be honest when buying multiples to do a design the less yc one has to spend per item is very important. Bundles may be a very good solution to this.

My most desired item is railings. There have been many released during my yoyears and yet I still have never found one that will work for the use I need it for. I need railings that will go anywhere in room without having to use any type of trick manuevers people suggest to those of us who have been driven insane by black spaces.A variety of styles in wood and wrought iron would be nice.

Variety is the key and based upon the items turned out I have reason to believe your team has that figured out already.Again please know that there are far more dedicated players such as myself who do not frequent the forums as often,but who very much still appreciate all you have done and despite all the understandable bumps are very much loving our new yoworld.

I'm totally with you on the need to keep decorating items in game...the staples so to speak..
Would you recommend New items...or revamping the old?

Maybe we should find some graphics and post them to give some ideas and suggestions....think?

From what we have already seen with the shark hat I expect there will be revamping and thats totally cool with me. The ww grass tiles were coins and a good size and I used a ton of em while they were still in store,but I am ready for new. I bought exactly one of those avenue sidewalks for yc..nice idea but not worth the yc for the size..same for all the yc railings thru out the years and wall panels..not spending yc on one small item I need a large quantity of nor will I spend yc on an item that does not place anywhere on screen without trick manuevers.

I have limited computer skills otherwise I would post examples but seriously all they need to do is google home depot,click images and get all kinds of clues on what us decorators really need. Greg made yodepot and I think almost all decorators spend a great deal of their time and coins there to this day..since I started I always wondered when they would add to it..as far as I know nothing ever was except the enchanted things and ww tiles.Wouldn't of been good sense before every theme that got pulled if they would have added things such as the outdoor decor and kitchen appliances since every appliance was yc?Greg also made the furniture store and I believe he was responsible for the themed section in it that has never left..ya know the one with Shaker,Mission,Gothic,beach etc etc..THAT is the type of themes I want more of. Example..we have a cape cod home still in store at reasonable price but never any cape cod furniture.

Now in no way do I feel this should be the new way to go with every release..I too enjoyed the big theme releases such as groovy and spellbound with the animations and characters..but many have requested just normal homes and home furnishing thru out the years like the old ones Greg first created. I am so glad he is back in charge.

CarlaKay, I couldn't agree more and just posted about this in another thread. Updating the basics would be such a wonderful help while I'm redoing my old homes and hopefully BVG will get around to it, after fixing the mess that was left behind. The have done wonders so far so I'm trying to be patient.
