I have wrapped gifts like wrapped gold and silver, and i have the chance to sell it back, but can't place it out? Why

I have some old VIP items that are like that. Can see them when I browse inventory box but cannot see them in decorate mode, gift, trade, or list in auction.

Most xmas 08/09 ornaments
Cannot be placed
I e-mailed BVG about the milk and cookies already and they said they'll look further into it
I'd say gather a list of everything that can't be placed and e-mail them
