I was about to decorate a home and accidentally clicked on 'Home Information' and it brought up this screen that I have never seen before!

Previously, it was this.

When did this change? I have absolutely never seen it before and so I'm confused!

I think there are a couple older homes that have this screen. I like it – I wish all of the homes had this screen.

some do — some of my older homes also dont …. just depends I think

Yep. No idea why some do and most don't. The Steampunk Central home does, but I don't remember when that home was released, so I have no idea if it was just a certain period of time that they had this screen?

yes just a few houses from a certain time have this its freakin handy too

A bit more info on it for you:
In January 2012, Zynga released a new feature for houses, to help players navigate around their homes. This is only used with houses released in 2012 and 2013. Any houses released before or after this do not have this navigation feature.

The screen has an interactive map on the left hand side, showing all the rooms in your house. On the right hand side is a preview of whichever room you've clicked on, as well as its decorating level and progress. Both of these features no longer function since the transfer to BVG.

The feature also lets you rename your house, lock the room you are in, and set the house to default.

Yes, and those maps of the room placements were interactive....you could click on a room and it would take you there.
I find those maps easier to access and navigate when wanting to move within rooms in your house rather than the BVG way of finding and clicking on the house on your house menu then scrolling using the down arrow the list of room names.
I wish they had kept the map instead.

I loved this feature! It made getting around your homes so much easier :heart:
