Hey ya'll, I hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping some of you guys will chime in with some suggestions to make this event a little better and easier to do. I confess, I don't enter into the events all that much any more for several reasons...

1. I don't always like the themes they require us to use and don't see a point in wasting coins, cash or time on it.
2. Sometimes the requirements for rooms are redundent or just plain don't make sense.
3. The time factor for decorating a room is not always feasable for those of us with other commitments.
4. The daily prizes for tokens are often so random and end up having to be sold back to store or deleted all together.
5. The prizes or themes are too often not worth all the time and effort given for the challenges with the (IMO) better prizes allotted to the casino games.
6. All the single rooms we gather which I end up deleting and moving all the stuff to another house... which is even more time consuming.

So... does anyone still use the camera button in game to make a few coins? Or is this feature not being used as much as it once was? It would be nice and hopefully feasable to use this button to capture our rooms of choice and offer them up to be voted on. If the requirements are still kept, can they be smaller items that are easy to incorporate into our themed rooms? Let's say the requirements are for a bedroom, then we would have to use a bedroom that actually has a bed and tied to our own accounts of course but then it would let us (or me at least) to fully decorate they way I love to do.

What are your ideas?

I think there is a factor of the voting - so they can be seen for voting

So while I would love to be able to use the room in the theme I'm doing - while great idea, not sure the coding will support it

I agree with the prizes - the pattern is always the same, and the winning of the same thing a different color every single pull is discouraging

plus because I rarely see a perfect score anymore I end up buying my gems (anyone else doing that as well and question why the voting is not reflecting the creativity and efforts put in the entry, I do)
Easy enough to see the pattern by looking at the gem posts that have been done for years.

I wonder if we could change the voting -- so we are no longer voting against each other -- I believe if your skipped it doesnt affect your score but if the room next to you is voted on. it does hurt your score .......someone said they only vote when there are two dump rooms next to each other - however that doesnt reward the player then spent 3 hours working on their room - I have seen room transformations that are mind blowing .... I cant believe we all get the same things and some rooms - just stunning
I want to reward that player, I saw one recently that came back with a 4.3 -- this room had it all, color drama adventure - just perfect

let us hope this reaches those that can make changes and improve things for us

Yes there is always going to be those that try to skirt the system, voting blocks that only for some players in the agreed to combo of things for example - or that will down vote any player based on items worn ---- we cant prevent it. But we can sure try to adjust things so we can over come most of the nastiness

I suggested that you can't vote if you didn't enter and getting less for entering eg say 50 gems for entering and more for a score of 4.5 or more
That might encourage some to actually try a bit.

I think tho that some just like playing that way, 100 gems for entering with minimum effort, 30 for voting, X amount hangouts gems and 5 free each day
They buy what prizes they want or use YC to get more gems , which is something that BVG loves when players go the easy way and just BUY instead

I don't allways like the theme either so I buy a few tiles in YoDepot for every theme just for Gems use
its around 60-80 to get the full bonus ,
15 tiles per room so I pretty much level up a Gothic House every theme

I sell a lot of the gems prizes if they're popular not that golf is popular **meh** normally I get a little more than 50 coins for things

Sometimes prizes are YC too so selling them via AH will get a you a few coins
