Time to bring out your eerie creativity… the Halloween Player Design Contest is here!



Designers of all skill levels are welcome to submit any original designs (no photo reference images) for the following categories:

• Women's Hairstyles
• Men's Hairstyles
• Women's Halloween Outfits
• Men's Halloween Outfits
• Halloween Hats/Hair Accessories/Masks
• Yobers, HHs, Scenes
• Face Cases

In addition to new designs, you may re-submit any previous designs submissions you have that are Halloween-themed!

Submissions are due September 3rd

**This is NOT an avatar/NPC contest. Please do NOT send us images of your YoWorld avatar.**

We will announce the winning designs in batches based on the theme they will be released during. Please join the YoWorld Discord if you'd like regular updates about the winning designs.

This contest will be voted on by YOU! When voting is active, the link to vote will become available in-game and announced on Discord.
There are no specific aesthetic requirements for this contest! Feel free to submit anything that screams ‘HALLOWEEN’ to you! Looking forward to seeing your amazing designs!

GENERAL CONTEST REQUIREMENTS:
• All submissions MUST be submitted through the Player Design Contest Submission Form
• **IMPORTANT: Please submit ALL OF YOUR SUBMISSIONS for the Halloween Player Design Contest in ONE Google Drive in ONE Submission Form.** This means ALL of your submissions must be submitted in ONE form. For example, if you have 8 designs you're submitting for the Halloween contest, please put all of your designs in 1 Google Drive and in 1 submission (i.e. you fill the form out ONCE for ALL 8 designs). This is to ensure we do not miss any submissions as the submission form inbox has a limit per month. If you want ALL your submissions to be considered, please adhere to this requirement.
• In addition to any files you have, submissions MUST include a PNG of the full outfit / item in its entirety with either a WHITE background or TRANSPARENT background. We will likely make each image transparent in the voting poll, so keep that in mind.
- Please include any name preferences for your design in the file name of this PNG
- Please only include 1 color variant of your item or outfit in this image.
- For Hairs: DO NOT include a Rare hair as your model image; please provide 2 hair images: 1 PLATINUM colored hair AND 1 BLACK colored hair for your model images. This means NO hairs with multiple colors (Shadows/shading is okay -- see images below for example of acceptable shadows/shading). This is for the goal of making things as fair as possible and to ensure details of the hair are visible.
Examples: .
- The PNG must have a model of some kind to showcase your design and how you want it to look on/with a Yo-Avatar (face or full-body, depending on the item(s)).
- Models must have NO faces or hair unless it is exclusively a face case design or hair design. Please only showcase the item(s) you’re submitting for the contest so it’s clear what YoFans are voting for.
- If you do not submit a PNG with these requirements, your submission cannot be considered for the contest.

Me too! I want a real Hallowe'en...costumes, houses and everything else scary, too.

sorry I submitted a not scary design.. its my first design and it wasnt supposed to take til halloween to submit.. it just ended up that way. MY BAD

I think I understand. The word, "variant" was throwing me!!

just like you would a svg design -- you need a png of your image without a background or a white background --- create a google drive, or log into your google account on google drive .... there you will create a file from your image. easy enough to paste the link from that file in the form -- little easier because if your just sending in one suggestion it is pretty straight forward. -- I'm really looking forward to seeing the AI created ideas, I love that it's going to give more people a voice in how we look --- Good LUCK!!! I cant wait to see it
