I like the auction house because often I do get some great deals and have found so many old themes that are hard to find now. I am tired of seeing the greedy people racking up the prices in order to trick the newbies.

For example right now the Airport Animated Choco Display is listed for 690,000 coins with a Buy Now option of 690,555 coins. No bids thank goodness. This sells in the store 4999 coins I believe.

Now I knew right away she was overpriced and I know I can hide all in store items when searching the AH, but newbies may not know.

I also see Napa items for Yo Cash when we all know they are just 1 coin, well maybe not the newbies. I have also seen free chest items being listed for Yo Cash.

Vikings can something be changed? Perhaps Napa items can no longer be offered in the AH? I don't mind "in store" items being offered as some players offer them Yo Cash items for coins, not everyone has Yo Cash.

I know I can ignore the high prices and move on if I don't want to pay them. I just really dislike seeing others get scammed or lied to by greedy players. The majority of the players I have met are great thankfully.

I had a person in game selling a kawaii bunny thats in store for 20yc, i thought they didnt know so just said to them to be careful as its in store for 2000c or something and they started to cuss me out saying its their price if I dont like it then leave

I just tried to tell her cause if i think one price is weird id think the rest would be too, just so others dont think the same XD, remind me not to help

I found recently that taking advantage of others games knowledge is common -- and some bicker over price and rarity with little to back it up .... it is so easy to get confused, we have a ton of items in store. - without a better warning system - I dont know.


I personally by mistake have listed in store items, not realizing it-because I have NO way short of looking everything up what is or isnt in the store -- especially those years where a lot of things were vaulted and I wasnt playing. -- but not in a way to take advantage ... I have no way of knowing short of gifting someone or using the site we arent to mention.

Turn off the instore button and you will not see what is in there. Other than that, beware - this game has BEWARE written all over it. Learned that way back at the end of 08.

Oh yes, I always use the "hide in store option" option. I just wish people weren't so greedy and scammy.

The lack of ethics in Yo by all too many, is a reflection of society at large. So many people don't have a clue that certain behaviors are absolutely wrong. The Golden Rule is just a myth in their world. They see life as a series of opportunities to "get theirs", no matter the cost to anyone else. Something broke long ago, and it is taking some time for it to get fixed. But it will....eventually.

the fire chests and keys I list for YC as you can buy them for YC if you so desire
and players do , same as they buy extra gems specially when new items appear
I quite often sell the fire ones as they do contain YC prize ( sometimes )

As for coin items listed at 10x the store price buy 5 yourself and sell ( buy out list them ) for the store price and watch the average go down
thats FUN and collects a few YoPoints , don't make any money yourself but it helps the newbs
I've gone up levels doing that buying 5 at a time and listing for the store price ... I think I lost 10K but it sure was FUN
