I was just at a sale and tried to buy a freebie which was the Steampunk Pistol. I was wondering if someone can confirm that this is marked free gift in inventory. Would like one for a project but if this is the case then I can't buy one.

if it was a freebie, then yes, i assume it surely should be marked free gift

Well not all freebies are marked free gift. The ones that are not marked free gift in inventory you can trade. I've noticed most of the newer ones are not marked but some are. For instance, some of my Japan ones are marked so I cannot gift or trade them while some of them are not so I've been able to gift or sell them.
