I think we need to change the look of the teleport door! It would be great if we could buy new teleport doors that go along with the theme or season. Here are a few of my ideas (most is related to Halloween)

New teleport doors that look/work like rockets,
spaceships, hot air balloons--anything
that flies that take you where you want to go like the
teleport doors can...or maybe even cannons your
avatar can get in and get shot out from to go to
your destination. ( for the rocket and cannon, your yo
can 'land' in parachute)

For scary themes instead of the
doors taking away from the atmosphere, it could be
a horde of bats taking you away and dropping you to
your destination after you click on a tombstone or
maybe the ground in front of the tombstone swallows
you up when you click on it to take you to your new
destination

*Teleports that have a skeleton come from the ground and pull your yo by the feet under and then you look like you're crawling/climbing out of the grave on the next screen to get to your next destination.

*Teleport that makes a
bunch of zombies look like they're carrying your yo off
the screen when you click on them and then your yo
'escapes' from them when you get to the next destination.

*Teleport Trains!

A train (that looks much like the Animated Train) that takes your Yo to the next
destination where the other teleport train is located.

Just some ideas

Love this too, Stargates and Star Trek teleporters too.

I would love a TARDIS style teleport.

Love your teleport door ideas for Halloween. I would be all of them. I would even buy the Train (choo-choo)

+1 need new look on the teleports

I am a great lover of teleports myself, and sometimes it'd be nice to make them look like something else.
But what could probably be the best option is an invisible teleport so there'd only be the triangle. This way it'd be easy to make anything a teleport.

And for the one who asked for a tardis - you can come close to that if you place a teleport inside a United Kingdom phone booth. (Would still love a complete Doctor Who theme.)

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make teleporters a giftable item again.
My entire design theme is based upon Bus Stops that take people one great home to another. Without giftable teleporters I can no longer add my friends houses to my extensive bus route.

This is a great idea. I hate to design a room down to the last detail and then put in a fugly old teleport door. If I could use one to add to the design or even make it invisible that would be awesome.
