Hello everyone, I need some help from you experienced players.
I haven't played Yo in around 2 years, and now I came back when BVG took over.
I never had a hard time buying and selling items, I made a good amount back in the day.
But since I've come back I've been having such a hard time selling items which I acquire at good prices.
I am using priceguides mainly to get a quote on item prices since I haven't played in so long.
I have bought many items cheaper than priceguides and am trying to sell them at the lowest price stated in guides.
Yet I cannot seem to get a hold of any buyers.
Yes I was able to sell some items, but I made little to no profit off them. So far I have been chewing and eating through my old wealth. (which will drive me broke pretty soon)

I am humbly asking for some advice on buying and selling, how do I find out the item value and whether it will sell or not.

I would really appreciate any help I can get.

For some reason, I feel there are less buyers out there. Idk maybe just me. Trying trade centers might be best depending on item. Maybe auctions.

Well I just bought MJ jacket for 1.5M, is that a good price? and can I find a buyer for a higher price?

Have you tried selling through the AH with a "Buy Now" price? I usually sell this way. It's harder to sell in a sale event.

You can see an average price of the last 2 weeks at the AH as well (By hovering on the question mark with the mouse cursor). It's not always accurate for all items but it's still helpful.

Yes I have sold many items through AH, but the problem is they take %10 which is quite a lot.

I think lots of players are at the moment hanging on to their coin to see what items BVG will release on their first release. Also folks will be saving coin too, waiting in anticipation for a release of Unreleased furniture. I know I am. We might get balloon machines and what not yet..

So pretty much for me I would say your bad luck at selling at the moment is purely TIMING. Prices have dropped a lot the last week.

You are a player from 09 so it's not that you are a new player. If I had been "out of town" for a bit, when I came back in I would observe for awhile to get the lay of the land and then proceed forward.

I wouldn't get too excited because the Water Balloon Machine is actually a collectible and was i store for quite a while.

Thank you for the advice, I think I'm gonna take things slow for a while.
