EXACTLY! Zynga closed them out just to try and make a bunch on money fast, but I think it hurt them in the long run. They lost a very large percentage of their players that way.

I'm a decorator as well as a collector/trader. And in the end it got so ridiculous that even players like me couldn't (and point blank refused) to keep up. It was insane. They just kept closing out theme after theme after theme. At some point it got to where it wasn't even about affording it... it was about stocking up so much that I thought my inventory might make the game completely unplayable for me.

Thats one thing people dont really seem to think about. All these decorators that were forced to stock up on these themes of things they used most frequently, are a drain on the game, server wise. Instead of being able to buy items they use in bulk, as needed (like the wild west grass tiles for example) they are forced to stock up in bulk on them when they are leaving to cover any future needs they might have. By the time NYC left I put my foot down. I was seriously concerned that I might not be able to trade at all ever, if my inventory got any larger.

I still find myself doing it now. I came back in December after a very long break from this game, and I have been stocking up ever since. Most of the stuff I'm not sure how or why I would ever use it but I am scared not to buy it because I don't want it removed. Maybe a year down the line, I will come up with a great way to use it.

YUP YUP. thats what I'm sayin!
