Actually you can hate anyone for any reason you like. Rational or not.

Ok?

I thought I was pretty clear. Not sure I need to spell it out.

Wishlist in someone's siggy doesn't really bother me as long as it is not seriously long - like asking for everything in the store, or every unreleased item.  Posts that are indirect begging do bother me. If someone post up "Post your WISHLIST" and others comment with long list, it doesn't bother me; nothing wrong with wishing when it was asked for, so if I CHOOSE, I can SKIP OVER those threads. However, people who post sob stories just to get stuff get on my nerves, and the people who rather hypocritically say they don't like that people posts wishlist, yet I've seen them post for stuff they would like too already. :?

Because as has already been said a lot of people see it as no different as those events begging for stuff.

Lets agree to disagree.. Begging is going out and requesting something over and over by harassing people.. Putting together a wishlist is just letting people know what you have on your mind and sometimes stuff that you've been looking a LONG time with no luck. I see no similarity. I can only call it begging when someone has a wishlist with like 10 items but then again, who cares? No one is forcing you to give to them or come to the forums.

That is the heart and spirit of what a true wishlist is - but there some players who once gifted an item from their "numerous items loaded signature wishlist" immediately updates it with a plethora of many more items that they NOW would love to have and has been their desire since the started the game!!!. WTH! To me that is simply taking advantage of the generous players in this community and I personally regard it as covet begging which leaves a bad impression of that player in my mind. We aren't here to cater to the shopping - list desires of those too lazy to go in game and earn those coveted items for themselves.

Yeah I said it..... 8-)

Very well said...and I totally agree.

I don't think wishlist pictures should be allowed in siggies IMO. They weren't in the old forums and shouldn't be here. Not only do I see siggy pics, but underneath is a huge wishlist pic too. I have blocked every person that has items pictured in their siggie. It bothers me having to scroll past them when trying to read a thread here. I thought that's what the wishlist section was for. :|

Begging in YoWorld is a perceptive term. I'll be crystal clear - in my perception your signature IS begging whether I give you a single item or not. In someone else's (yours) it might not be.

i agree, when they say biggest wish ever and you gift it, and they change and add another wish on there siggy same wording biggest wish ever its not right. i do not mind gifting to players. players do not like begging at the towers and most there are asking for coins. when you see a player post every day and give that gift they wished for it angers you. same wording asking for a different item. it is the wording they use. it does not belong on a siggy to see on every post

Personally for me, I don't think its appropriate. I have often wondered why people gift certain people. I have seen a particular individual doing multiple thank you threads, which is all fine and dandy. Just don't understand how one person gets gifted so much expensive stuff while another yo, gets zip. So how does one person get gifted over and over - and with each gift, there is an update to the image on his/her signature. Its more like a HIT list than a wishlist. ONE DOWN, next!
I laugh at the I would die for - well I never want to give anything to anyone that they would die for. Who wants to kill anyone? Seems such an absurd statement lol.. If you gift something to a yo, that they would die for, are you attempting murder lol?

I started out in the wishlist section and we gifted each other 50 coin shoes and liked it. Don't think 50 coins shoes will be accepted so well nowadays :p. Anyhoo after few weeks, I decided best to just hoard my coins, open my wallet and buy stuff cause seems like my coins kept going out buying gifts for people while my ownself couldn't save enough for taku furniture. My point is perhaps one item in wishlist and if you reciprocate then is fine, not always take and take from others without paying forward. My ownself nowadays, I refuse to put a wishlist cause I can afford to get my own yocash stuff and what I can't afford, I just do without. I used to be able to afford yocash also right from the very start of playing Yo but it was fun gifting in wishlist. Unfortunately that fun died when people started asking for pages and pages of stuff.
