You must make coins like these steps,
1. Don't beg like "I need coins and/or yocash help me", and don't make events "I need money help"
2. Don't scam a person.
3. Visit your friends and get 30c each from your friends.
4. You must go to the maxing event, the maxing event lets you win 200c.
5. You must go to pageant to win money (without scamming).
6. You must play games like tictactoe or Rock Paper Scissors. (Win= 10c, tie= 5c, lose= 0 coins) no problem if you lose.
7. You must go to the factory everyday
8. You must do jobs everyday
9. You must open gifts from your friends
10. Sell your item (cheap or expensive)
11. You must be 18+ to buy YoCash or Coins with credit card, if you are younger than 18 you must ask a parent/old sibling/old cousin if he/she has credit card.
And that's it!
But I beg for yocash...

She did this with an intention of doing a good thing, and I think a lot of people are taking what she says out of context and kind of just being trolls about it. Kids have a hard time expressing themselves through words a lot of times. Let BVG sort it out; you do not need to insult her or her parents. And I know there are rules regarding FB age and YoWorld age, but in this day in age.. kids get handed tablets at birth. Kids are extremely savvy with electronics and technology and that is just the way it is. Parents can't watch their kids 24/7. There is worse things she could be doing.

Well that's good IMO, 70% of new players are beggers.
Imagine how the forums will be....![]()

As the 52 year-old parent of a nearly 20 year old young man I stand by what I have posted.
I brought my son up to say please and thank you, and treat people with respect. He was not given a laptop until he was 13 and even then it was a reconditioned one with parental locks. At 16 he was allowed to go on Facebook but I had the password. At eighteen he finally had a brand new laptop and his freedom to do as he wished.
Despite being disabled he has just left education as an A* pupil and I am proud of him because he has never gotten into anything stupid like this.
So, no, not all kids get handed tablets at birth. Not all kids are extremely savvy with electronics and technology, and that is not just the way it is.
It's a good job that's not, too!

I guess I should clarify that I do not think her breaking the rules is okay. But it seems doubtful to me that she was aware of the rules or she wouldn't have posted her age here. Anyways it was my impression the young lady wasn't purposely being rude, but simply being misunderstood and attacked, because she could not express her thoughts through the computer properly due to her age. I just wanted to make a point that 12 years is not a long time to have existed, and people were giving her a very hard time! I also feel it is not anyone's place to pass judgment on others, especially a child, and parents of which we know nothing about.
As for the technology piece I have to disagree with you completely on that. I am 20 years old and boy have things changed tremendously since I was a kid. I have a 12 year old brother and he knows much more about technology and computers than I do. Sure, not EVERY single kid gets that exposure, but most kids do nowadays. Most kids are exposed to tablets, cell phones, computers, laptops and more at extremely young ages. Most kids under 10 can run these devices on their own and know many tips and tricks us adults do not. In fact many schools are abandoning pencil and paper and solely relying on tablets and touch screen whiteboards for education. More and more kids will be online as technology advances and at even younger ages. I am sure by the time I have kids it will be even more ingrained into our culture. Who knows what kind of cool, crazy technology they will have for babies and toddlers in the near future. They already have apps for babies to learn their shapes and colors and ABCs.

No, you didn't upset me.
You make some very valid points, but you also touched on one thing which bothers me - and it applies to many youngsters. You said "But it seems doubtful to me that she was aware of the rules or she wouldn't have posted her age here.". Youngsters may be PC savvy but they are not 'life savvy'. This may be a forum where you have to register to post, but anyone can read, member or not. By posting personal details here, they become extremely vulnerable. It wouldn't take a very savvy older person long to find out more about a youngster if they really wanted to.
I have had first-hand experience of someone approaching me over the internet with the sole intention of grooming my child through myself. I was old enough and wise enough to deal with it through getting the police involved. But would a child be able to do that?
Yes, I know that things happen in life and we cannot watch our children 24/7 - but after what happened to me, it does worry me when I see youngsters like this opening up because they are too young and naive to understand what could happen.
Perhaps I worry too much? I really don't know.

*cringe* Well, the good news is that BVG is devising a new method to earn coins and perhaps you can sell some of ur things so u don't have to beg.

I agree with you completely on all of this. It is definitely always a concern when it comes to the safety of minors. There are many predators.. even on Yoville! I have encountered them myself. When I was a minor in game people much older people would ask me for inappropriate pics! Unfortunately kids will end up where they simply do not belong online, even in the most structured of households. I don't know if there is a good way to prevent this on Yoville, since many kids have Facebooks before 13. I guess the best we can do is report it to BVG if we feel there is a concern. And hope parents tell their kids about online safety and predators.
