Brings back a lot of memories. Loved the movie. The dance scenes were awesome. My nickname in high school was swivel hips. I am almost 73 but still love to dance!

Upon seeing the title, that line was the first thing I thought of. Remember that amazing feeling when he lifted her over his head! Such a beautifully constructed property....endless possibilities. The only drawback I have is will we have enough to fill them. We should have lots of goodies... Watch the movie, I've seen it many times with my daughter, I think you will enjoy it. Thanks BVG...for all your hard work. Great partnership with Lions-gate

Did you see him in his Academy Award Winning role in "North and South"? During his very emotional scene to his Father.....he blew out enough snot to cover his top lip....I looked at my daughter and said "And the winner is"!!! I was bawling my eye's out. Great movie too. I so miss him. Headed to purchase this amazing property then watch Dirty Dancing.

We must not be pessimistic, maybe this association with Lionsgates brings us surprises. I have seen a list of their productions and they have quite a few good things for Halloween, like Saw, Hostel, The Cabin in the woods.
There is where to choose, you just have to be patient. If you don't like this topic, you can take advantage of raising your money and decorating what you have behind.
Now I'm watching the movie to get excited about the possible beautiful clothes that will come

This is huge for BVG! I'm excited to see possible partnerships in the future. I remember watching this movie after years of purposely avoiding it because of how cheesy it looked. After giving in and watching it with my mother, I was disappointed but not surprised. I think it's overrated but I'm glad so many of you like it! I'm looking forward to the clothing and hairstyles. :)

Well, there is a turn up! Nice colaboration!, Well Dirty Dancing is a cracking film of its time, an yea, Patric Swayze was delicious in it! :phew:

I dont think I can quite stomach watching the whole thing again, more because I never liked Jennifer Grey cast as Baby, she just wasnt believable, or pretty enough :?: :quiet: , but I suppose she had her moments!

Fair play, im enjoying refreshing my memory with some youtube clips. For those too young to know it, you should watch it though! And, I'm looking forward to see what they can do with a known theme, without the constraints of copyrite!

I think it was part of the time though. It is kind of overrated but thats because it is seen through years of nostalgia. I just watched it tonight and I felt it kind of improved with me being older. I loved it as a kid, was embarrassed by it as a 20 something and now i just look at it a lot different. For one thing I want to slap Johnny and ask him how old he is... :haha: :haha:

I agree with you. It was a different time and I will never understand the cultural impact of this film because I wasn't alive when it was released (according to my mom, it was a huge deal when it came out). Also, I set some pretty high expectations before watching popular films, so perhaps that's my own fault.

Yes! He was a beautiful man. Ive watched every movie he was in....because it was him lol. I was thinking the same thing. I so hope they don't slaughter his looks miserably lol

I was thinking something similar. The house is nice and could have lots of potential. :D

I thought this as well when touring the home.

While I like the Dirty Dancing movie, I have no desire to stage it in Yo. At some point I may get the home to decorate it for Halloween. We'll see how Halloween goes first.

How about...
a Dirty Dancing / Halloween Jason mash-up!

”Oh no, Jason is trying to put baby in a corner!”

With a few additions, any theme can be Halloween.

:haha:
That would be hysterical.

I did briefly consider doing this theme and adding in a few zombies, lol.

Thank you for putting all the wall tiles, windows, doors etc into the depot, a good selection in there. I would love the doorway on the exterior as a separate item that arched one :D I think you have done really well on the house, clearly someone is a fan of the movies, such attention to detail.
It was an unexpected theme but one which I love, another grew up in the 80's here

incase it wasnt mentioned already it would be nice to have the time of our life (final dance) as an interactive or animated npc. it may be a bit much to ask, and dont try to be typical bvg violent funny by letting him drop her and she lands on her face :silly:
