I'm not one who do WTB/FS in wb but I have a friend before who made me a avatar art before. I treasure it as she doesn't play anymore.

U aren't just erasing a game item, you are removing a valuable memory keepsake, no amount of compensation is every going to replace that. Please reconsider

I am so heartbroken, I've always loved my paint boards because they were one of a kind and a personal decorating piece and can never be replaced. Not sure how I feel about the game anymore, you didn't even warn us, what a let down.

what are you people doing , none of my art is copyright, i've spend hours and hours drawing pics and giving them to people for free, why do you hate us long time players?

Okay just went to check the room I kept a lot of the boards I bought in, and the WHOLE ROOM IS EVEN GONE like what the F***!!!

So not happy with this. This is so unfair, why does everyone have to suffer. I was upset about the frames but now this! This is too much. Some like to just go draw art. I have an entire Graffi area from friends, poof ???!!! Sad just sad. Oh my gosh, our friend just died. He had a room with the love of his wife and their picture together, gone. A little warning would have been nice, at least we could have gotten pictures of what was important to us. Probably should do that now before we lose something else.

They CANT "BAN" players....they can only disable the IP address for that players account

In todays world....you simply use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and open a new account to continue your illegal activity

a VPN gives you endless IP addresses and anonymity


There needs to be an approval process to upload a whiteboard/paintboard/Brass Frame into the game

I only had a couple boards so I'll live....but I cant imagine the pain some are feeling not only having created the boards ...but displaying the artwork and precious memories

I dont know if the game survives this....perhaps that was BVG's intention

So one would assume this came under great distress from someone I hope -- that some of you must know the memories those boards held ... I know u would know that because of the issues with frames

what ever the rational -- you simply announcing it without much of a reason will have all of us running wide with the whys behind this

OMG so many of my rooms are just ruined.

I am at a loss for words, had so many rooms made for me with those boards, my pride and joy of many of my favorite rooms I had made many through the years. I will deeply miss them all, especially my Star Trek room called Voyageur dedicated for my brother who passed away. A buddy friend of mine made those for me, as well many others where she spent hours to perfect., add the boards she made, and then I would add game store items and decorate the balance. So many players loved to come visit to see them., and comment how much they loved them.

At first all I felt was anger, losing all these years of work, and wonder why not the offenders who abused this program be the ones punished , why all of us. I tried to have some understanding that perhaps BVG, you had no choice if you decided to do this, to protect the game. It is a great loss for us. I wish we could have at least kept the old we already had in rooms, and maybe you could have locked them or something, so we would not have to lose irreplaceable work

I will miss so many people who might leave the game with enormous talent,.One buddy made a whole 9-11 theme of dozens of rooms with paint boards people made for him. He spent endless hours making these rooms and his project of dozens of rooms with many mixed items and paint boards as well were amazing. Another player made whole Disney Theme rooms, and many more amazing rooms where he used game items and boards, and we could visit in events... Many loved to make rooms with their buddies, making selfies , and fun back grounds which I always found very cool as well. It is the DIVERSITY of tools we can use to keep this game fun, (boards were one of them). Adding new daily items to playing slots alone wont make it happen . People will eventually lose interest.

Having said that, I can only wonder how you plan to compensate all those boards we paid for, I know for myself, I spent considerable amount of money for the yocash boards, have so many rooms, as well I paid the board artists fees, who took their time to make them for me. I rather get back my rooms as they were, than the fees spent for the boards if I could have my wish..... Really feeling sad about this news...

These things are used for so many different things in the game, please do not punish the many for the actions of a few.

I have done boards for players that have pets that have passed, I have done boards for all sorts of things. They are not just boards, they are treasured items (more than money) to some players. Please reconsider your decision.

My boards are intact still and I hope they remain that way! I haven't checked all I have, I checked only this room...

These types of items have always been my favorite type of items.. eggs that I can put art on (no longer working) carving pumpkins.. white board art (no longer working) and now these...

there is no compensation to replace the fun I have.. or the treasured memories that players have brought into the game thru' these paint boards.

I can't imagine it is BVG's intention to alienate their player base. After having a long discussion with my husband and some back and forth about what's going on in the tech world with other games recently, this may not be an area they have a choice in if things are uploaded to their server. Obviously we use sites to host the images, but the images do get uploaded to YW. If the server isn't being moderated....well, this kind of thing happens. I don't want to speculate because they haven't given us any other details, but I can only imagine it is a serious issue to anger this many players.

I only wish BVG would have reacted differently - given us a heads up - hey, we're wiping the servers. You won't have access to the boards. Obviously it may not have simply been an option. I guess I've gone from angry to processing the change to being a devil's advocate. I'm so sorry to all who are affected. I'm also feeling the wrath..but being a little more understanding on my end.

BVG Is there any way that you could just punish, and ban those that misused the boards? Many of us have a lot of yocash invested in rooms used for like a trivia, or learning knowledge classes. Can you guys go back into a meeting and discuss this? I hope this is not an end of discussion subject. Hoping that our BVG Team, will only Punish The Ones That Misused the paint boards. Please consider to restore our rooms and paint boards as they were. Maybe expose to us all those avatars that have been banned and misused this part of the game. This is not fair. Many will agree, that this is TOTALLY WRONG for us, the innocent ones!

Hoping this is not a final action BVG. Thank you for all that you do for us on the game.
