Community Challenge Rules:

Any coin chests opened during this time will count toward the community goal.
Once the goal has been met everyone will receive an in-game reward.
We also heard there’s some trouble shambling closer…It may be a bad time to be a young, irresponsible teenager in a quiet, unassuming neighborhood. Tune in on Friday when our first Scream Street Avatar Challenge is made available to all!

he never came back to confirm what he meant. it makes more sense it was coin run mystery chests for 8000c, but either way we met the minimum (i alone opened that many coins from both, too easy).

I don't see any "board" in the game to track the progress and I don't see any way to get the prize they mention after each challenge. Color me confused.
