I don't think the images can be restored since they were never backed up. Best we could hope for is they allow everyone to put up their images again. But that doesn't seem likely. I just don't see what is taking so long to decide how to proceed. You'd think they'd want to restore some happiness after this debacle, but not so far...

I haven't the time or desire to do them all again, just another reason I am wondering why i even came back to the game

Can someone tell me why some of my boards are a solid color now and many are just gone? I have paid a large amount of money for these boards, this is very unacceptable I am outraged! I understand being a solid color but I do not understand the missing ones! This was a mural on the entire wall

This was a 2 board beautiful picture that was a shabby chic picture.

In this picture I had boards stacked back to back, 8 to 10 of them.

All are gone except 1?
Someone please explain this to me please!

That's weird! My solid colored ones I used as wall tiles are blank just like the rest of them that used to have drawings on them. Someone said they were able to still fill in the boards with colors and save them, but I couldn't get it to work.

One of these is a whiteboard, (The one with the two rectangular checks) You can change the board colour on the paint board.
you can also set your pain board to transparent so although its still there you can't see it. Click where the board should be and uncheck the transparent tag.

Oh, I think it was you who told me you can still change the colors. I couldn't when you first told me, but I just tried it now and I was able to with one of them. I tried another and it wouldn't save. Weird! I thought maybe anything that previously had an image, color or drawing on it couldn't be modified and maybe the ones that never were used could still be filled with paint, but some of the blank or never used ones can't be colored. I am beyond confused and hope we get an answer from the Vikings soon.

I do not think they will bring frames back into this game since there been issues. Seems like facebook features has issues with them

They are probably still there, you just had the background transparent.

For example:

Here is my Great Pumpkin room when the boards still worked.



Here's what it looks like now.



But- in edit mode- you can see that the boards are still there, just transparent when not in edit.

If you had the background set to invisible you wont be able to see them.

That's what I was trying to explain. If you click board colour and uncheck "transparent" then you can recolour the board. but that's all you can do, You can't draw or write or it and save it,

I've made mine into a snakes and ladders board.

Paint boards WEREN'T DISABLED because of what WAS done. They were disabled because it COULD HAPPEN AGAIN.

BVG has to develop a way to PREVENT people from loading images onto BVG's physical servers that are a risk to the business, or else do away with paint boards entirely.

But to erase EVERYONES paint boards? Come on Rod thats just bogus
