Even though we have lost many of our treasured creations, I am thankful for the paint board artwork challenge that inspired me to learn Gimp, (which is a free Photoshop like program). It has become my go-to program for all my image manipulations, which has proven to be rewarding.

I do hope we get our creations back, but if we don't, I hope they will consider providing tools to create our own furnishings.

why are only some ppl getting the 25yc
i had 112yc worth of med/large boards, and 1,005,000coins worth of small boards
all of mine are still in the rooms, in hopes that the work i put into them will come back.
placing them perfectly was extremely difficult. i'm not removing them until we know if the artwork will come back.
are only the players with their boards in their floating inventory getting the 25yc?

How do you go about getting that 25 yocash while we are waiting around and not being able to use our paint boards. I bought quite a few. I don't recall getting the 25 yocash. If it's been awhile, then maybe I did.

Edit: Of course I found this post after making a 2nd one. I did get compensated for that 25 yocash. All I did was refresh my page and there it was. YAY!!

With all due respect. I have a number of paintboards in my homes, I also have a number of portraits. All of these cost and as of the moment NONE are of any use. Instead of allowing the majority of users who have these features to suffer due to the minority who have abused it, why not remove the offending accounts and let that act as a deterrent in future.

Thanks for the compensation. I do think the players who have tons of boards that were in use should be compensated more given how much cash and coins were spent on them over the years, not to mention the time put into creating them and the memories gone. All I can hope for is that you guys can actually find a solution and restore the images that are now lost if they don't break any rules.

I think they are still working on either getting the use of the paint boards back, our images back, or a real compensation plan.

This appears to be just a "thanks for your patience" gesture, and not compensation (yet).

Hey again. I just posted in this thread about not being compensated for the 25 yocash for the disabling of the white boards. I then went and refreshed my page and omgosh, there it was. 25 yocash. I came back to reply to my own message to let anyone who reads my message that I had indeed been compensated. How the heck do I find my message? I even did a search. It brought up 2 threads that I have left comments in. When you click on them, it takes you to the threads but not your direct message. What am I missing? There has to be an easier way to find your messages. Even tho it says right on top... 'view your message'. It does not take you to your messages, only the threads that you posted in. HELP!
