I'm not buying this story that you deleted paint boards of the ENTIRE YoWorld community over a handful of people that broke the rules. I think you did it to save server space and to push our purchases towards furniture and wearables only. And you didn't realize how the mistake of disabling paint boards would impact your player numbers, which have been dwindling since YoVille.

The dwindling number of players over the years means less money for you, so you raise the prices on everything, increase the number of store items that are YC items, and push us to gamble at the Casino. You need us players, we are your cash cow, but you're wrecking the games' economy and player numbers out of greed. Stop giving players reasons to quit the game. And in case you forgot, anyone can draw naughty things on "white boards" too, or upload images to brass frames. But you only targeted paint boards, which hold more pixels than a white boards, and are used as a means of coin income for paint board artists.

If you're being honest in saying you want to bring paint boards back "safely", you're going to have to create new ones that have image detection that will block images that violate the rules. But I don't think you're going to spend the money on that project, so you might as well re-enable paint boards and trust players to use the "Report" button to get those naughty images erased, which is what that button is there for afterall. Have some faith in your players.

Oh and PS, many of us own enough paint boards to exceed the value of 25 YC. 25 YC still doesn't replace sentimental value of the lost images none the less. And is it a coincidence that the Lethal Luxury Power Suit happens to be 25 YC? (rhetorical question)

So, 25 YC to make up for this disaster...wow. This seems like the idea that BVG came up with to do the least possible to try to make up for total loss of artwork and memories for so many players. How about full YC refunds for paintboards plus 25YC FOR EVERYONE as an apology? How about 50% off EVERYTHING for the next month? Half price VIP for the next year? A daily item y'all had intended for the gambling prizes for free for the next month? 50% off all YC sales for the next month? Do these seem a bit extreme BVG? Because taking away people's irreplicable artwork and memories with zero warning and not even allowing us to save the images first was extreme. If you're going to make extreme changes you should be prepared to make up for it in extreme ways. But I guess that would hurt your bottom line which let's face it, is all that really matters to BVG, which has lost and will continue to lose you money and players.

I spent 820 Yocash from the game for 164 boards..not counting all the coin boards I bought, and I get back 25 yocash ..
That is close to almost half my VIP subscription reward money lost .
Meanwhile... some who bought only one board, spending a whole 5 yocash are getting the same amount.
Is this the best you could come up with for a month of waiting.
I am trying to see the logic in this decision or was this the same logic to have us all punished for one person breaking the rules...smh

I've stopped trying to help any of them read it Miss Loie. They can't see past their anger to reason it out. They just want to stab BVG in the eyes until its resolved. I can't blame them, but they could sure save themselves a lot of angst and high blood pressure if they'd just read it.

AS for myself, I am over it , no anger at all anymore, I have accepted what ever happens happens, we have no control about what BVG will fix or not. However they did mention a month ago they were currently working on a compensation (if you took the time to read the initial letter) currently (the magic word currently....was said.) So therefore ,after a month now, this is what we are told, I just find this kinda cheesy, I mean they can pump out daily slots items, exclusives, hairs so forth , and this was what we all were waiting for a month to hear and receive.

Thank you, BVG! I hope you will be able to solve the problem and return Paint Boards to the game.

I thought they turned them off on purpose so what is there to fix. They lost money i wont spend a dime rn. Nope. I know they lost like 500 a month from me. Ridiculous just like fixing the invo that still exactly the same.
