That's a fair point. I wasn't sure if he meant compensation for all the boards purchased and work lost or just the 25 for our patience. I know this was just a thanks for your patience gift, but I have seen many angry players who've said they never received the 25 YC gift, so I sort of assumed.

wow thats really messed up i started spending on the game recently i dont think i will anymore.
idk what is worse removing the most common and used item in the game or bvg admins not given a single twat about players you should've added it back already just by seeing all these people asking for it to be added back..

I'm not excusing what happened and I'm as frustrated as everyone else and want the boards back BUT, to be fair, they had a valid reason to disable them. They wouldn't have done this if they didn't have to. I'm just wondering if they are actually working on an update to the boards as they claim to be. It doesn't seem like it should take this long to implement a system that filters the board content and catches the violations, but TBH I know nothing about how this works. I know they're understaffed, so that probably slows the process down.

Idk. I think as hard as it is we have to be patient and hope there's actually a fix coming and that they're not just blowing smoke and telling us they're working on it.

Wow... I stumbled on here after years and I wanted to see how things were going, maybe installing the game again... but seeing this made me kind of sick... I'd rather stay gone for good. You guys (players) hope you're well and stay safe <3

64 months is probably an accurate estimation, alas. But BVG won't get a dime from me until this is resolved reasonably -- and in-game "compensation" is most unreasonable. "Stay and pay in my parlor," says the hungry spider to the fly. "I MAY have a solution... someday... but in the meantime..."

Back on 9 August, and the 25YC still have not arrived. Why would they announce something and then not deliver? No comment on that? No fix? That should be easy and doable, particularly if you have ALREADY ANNOUNCED IT PUBLICLY. What is up????????

As pissed off and vexed about the situation as I am (that's putting it lightly), to be fair, we don't know that those players weren't banned. They might have been. However, that might not stop some from coming back with alts and doing the same thing.

The fact is some people are awful and can't play nice or play by the rules. Banning those players isn't enough. They need to recode the boards somehow so that the shady things are picked up by the filter and are unable to be keep put on the boards. NGL, it's been months and I would think they could have sorted this out by now, but I honestly don't know if they are capable or willing to do whatever needs to be done to keep the bad stuff out of the game. And Idk how long it's supposed to take, but it's been months now and no progress which really sucks.
