The deck of the veranda does not give you enough room to place the chairs which would have been perfect  Edited to say I have tried a wide variety of chairs and nothing fits :wailing:

LOVE the bang for the buck for the property. Fastest I ever clicked "Buy".

Also, YES to Roadhouse... has that kind of bar ever been done?

I think I'm the only person here who hates Halloween. That will be my stock-up-money time.

As much as I love the movie, I'm not interested in decorating a theme around it. BUT, I have to say, I LOOOOOOVE the property! It's nicely done and very pretty, and the size is impressive! I may just buy it and do something else with it like a series of little cottages and a restaurant or bar or something. I think it's too nice to pass on!

The partnership thing is cool, also! Good opportunity to do some themes people want without restrictions and copyright infringement.

My only concern is I hope this isn't going to be such a regular occurrence that it replaces normal themes. I realize it brings something fresh and new to the game in a sense, and I'm all for it so long as we still get normal themes. I'm burnt out on movie, tv show, comic book, etc. inspired themes. I'm old, weird, and boring, as I assume some people think of me as (no effs to give), and prefer "normal" themes. I'm sure some properties will be appealing, though, and that, like with everything else, there will be furniture and clothing bits that I can use. I just cringe at the thought of this game becoming one Disney movie after mindless reality tv show after the next, and to be fair, you guys do have a tendency to take an item or theme and do it to death (think teal furniture). So I just hope you can find a nice balance.

I don't care if it's somewhat regular as I know it will be good for the game, and I have no problem skipping over themes I don't like. What I said was that I hope they don't REPLACE normal themes and that there is a healthy BALANCE.

I hope there are other licensed themes in the future, particularly horror, scifi, or just more creative/interesting ones. It is a good way for a game to make a profit. I play other games that have licensed content as well so this was a welcomed surprise to me here although this particular film does not interest me. It is still nice to see this game branch out some new innovation.

I've partly decorated 2 outside rooms so far, and parts of my house are falling off into my inventory :haha: Imagine my surprise going to look for something I have, and see parts of my HOUSE in there. Just wondering why we have so many overlay parts? After the first one did it, I looked for others, but they don't show themselves until I edit the room. Hovering my mouse above it doesn't make it light up

They are there so when you stand on the porch, the railings layer in front of you. Alternatively, if you want trees and bushes etc. to layer in front of the railings, you can take off the porch overlay part. You still can't have it both ways but at least this gives you a choice.

I love the new Baby Houseman Hair rare colors! I had to hunt them both down in the auction house. And I'm supposed to be saving for Halloween. Well played, BVG.
