Sooooo....Yay I finally got my specks back! On top of it I found a seller willing to trade for items they wanted and saved some coins getting them. I have really missed the old days of trading that way. It was fun! If they rise or drop in price it will make no difference to me. They will always hold their value in my eyes because I have no plans to sell them and working the game to get them back was fun!

Probably one of the most overpriced and overrated items in the game. So rare, but you can hardly go anywhere without seeing them. People have some how bought into this idea that "discontinued" some how means "rare".

I remember when they came out. I got mine in stores also and bought several of both colors. And when they reached 100k I sold all of them but one pair of pink rets. Then I kept those for years and one day decided to sell them. Oh my god I was so lost without them. So I made an event to get another pair and paid more for them to get um back lol

Yes...There's tons of fg retros out there. Hoping soon they fix it so you can see who has fake/real

I'm sure they're working on that. And yes if they release more unreleased items all collectibles and rare items will go up even more.

I like blue rets better. Which I bought on whim cause I was unable to get another item i wanted. I guess since the whole fg thing, I prefer avoiding any of items made into fgs'. Except today-lol :lol:

This has probably been explained a million times but I missed the memo.....

How do you distinguish between a real pair of Pinks and a FG pair of Pinks?

It will say free gift under it in your inventory. Big V claims there are none for sale as they made them so you cannot trade or gift them. The creators of these fakes used a free gift platform to build them on.
As a result of this, we can no longer gift the old toasters, orange juice makers or any of the freebies we used to give. Big V is said to be working on a way that the f/g ones will be apparent as f/g when someone wears them.

The story is that people went wild buying all they could get their hands on.

They are working on away so that everyone can tell if someone has fg item or not. I'm hoping that is in the works right now. They posted it on yoworld.com

Yeah...so happy about that. I was hoping they'd all be removed but as long as they get it where you can tell who's got what. That's good enough for me.

Everything I have on is real,NOT FG's. I bought several years ago, and had fun doing so.

BUT

Since rets, bows, yorothys,-basically most or all high ticket items were reproduced in mass as fake items, I have not been wearing my 08s , rets and or any items reproduced in mass as fg's. Because-- IMO it devalued all of these items.

All these great items, since reproduced as FG's, to me, just represent class ism and symbols of "hey look at me" whether real or not. Makes me sad. mad. Zynga allowed modders, hackers to trash this game. I hope BVG has some items that will put all Z big ticket items to shame. .
