There were times when the old YoVille forums were a nightmare. The written abuse and images posted were disgusting.

But did anyone actually think that things would be that different when we moved here? I thought the quietness was just the lull before the storm.

Hopefully people will start to think twice before posting their bile when there is the threat of a game ban hanging over them.

Thanks this is a much needed thing. Some people's behaviors on old forum were just ridiculous.... people were making threads to make fun of other people or would hijack threads and post images and say things about the op belittling them as though they weren't even there. Just made you cringe to see it.

But the ignore feature did not work too well. Because if you selected to ignore someone then you could still see them make posts (if you don't like someone it would be more useful if you never had to see their name again), also they could see whatever you posted. I feel that if we do have an ignore feature it should make people invisible to each other, that would be a much more useful thing.

The little gangs like to go after people when they don't share their point of view. I appreciate what you are doing as everyone should feel comfortable here. Many have said to me that they don't come on the forum - they did but now they just read because they see the same behavior creeping in that drove them from the Yoville forum. In my opinion we all lose when that happens.

Hello, I just got to say, this is what I am afraid of: "The little gangs" as Adeline likes to put it. It is no secret how the old yoville forums use to be (many of us that are posting on here remember that well). My problem is people bringing old grudges with them.....People being clumped into 'gangs' just because they have a different opinion or point of view (or worse, on the old forum, you were automatically labeled if you were FRIENDS with certain people). Ridiculous! Bullying is a word that got thrown around too easy on the old forum. I seen the 'if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all' comment, but really. I love my sarcasm. It's who I am. I am an adult and know when I need to 'filter'. That being said. I hope some further clarifications from OP can be given as I am afraid that people will be reported not for bullying but for having a conflict of interest/difference of opinion or point of view. Once people find out who certain people are, the reporting will happen, even when a :) is used as a reply. Seen it happen on the old forum one to many times.

Nice to see you boo <3 AND THAT is exactly how I feel. If you're not a "sheep" or a "yes man" and have a difference of opinion, you'll be reported....

I don't think we as adults need this rule, I think others need thicker skin.

Bullying is Definitely a no-no, but we all know from past experience, if you sneeze wrong you're a bully.

You just worded everything I was thinking perfectly. This is a game for adults after all. No sarcasm filter should be needed.

What if they do it without naming names and just subtle (or not so subtle) hints like ive seen far too many times? Does it still count as attacking someone else? Cause it definitely causes problems.

THAT is what is scary, given people holding onto old grudges and reporting anything they can. just watch. it will happen. I hope some considerations will be taken from OP when these types of reports happen.
