Hard to say. When Zynga did their re-releases they seemed to focus on the ones they originally advertised as 3 days only sales like burlesque and groovy etc. I guess this isnt any different, although I still say this was an honest mistake.

It was.. there's a thread stickied now saying they took them out. It was an honest mistake.
I just never was sure about Super Saturday, there were collectibles inside of the theme but then there were normal items!

Re-releases was a big reason this game almost ended, and if our BVG "saviors" continue with the same mindset, well who's left to save us..

Because yo-poorer players feel hopeless to reach some items they want, so they try to pricejack what they already have, some try to raise their funds by scamming others because many items are soooo out of reach to many players that they see no other way that can take them to their goal items. And for the same reason yc rates go up up up and up. This will never stop unless they rerelease things. Just 8-9 months ago yc rates were around 10k to 1 but now.. i see even 30k to 1 dealers. Where is the end point or this yoinflation? If I was a new player right at the moment, considering that you literally can not get anything nice for less than 200k on sales, I would think wow there is no way I can make my way up on this game... so I would just leave.

I don't believe re-releases was the cause of the near demise of our game. It was because Zynga didn't care for whatever reason and let behind the scenes get out of control. Why on earth does anyone think releasing billions of coins into the game didn't mess with the economy? I am no economist but those coins now have to somehow lose their value if the rest of us have any hope of buying anything of worth that we missed or would like more of. I am sure Greg is much smarter than I am and I trust him to sort it out.
Also I have not been at highschool for over 30 years and I do not care one iota what is popular in the school yard. I don't care what hair or hat is the "thing". If a bunch of 14 year olds all want to dress the same they can keep it. They are the only ones who suffer by price-jacking. If I can't afford it I just don't have it.
I do look forward to a better programme of releases, like we used to have. Clothes on Tuesday and furniture on Thursday or whatever it was.
PS Greg can we have the big grass patches back in the store?

I think the 08 items should be some kind of prize you win at the casino instead of always coins. but not re-released.
I think they really should release all the un-released items that caused so much chaos in our last world and just let people buy them as there were a lot of cool ones that ppl bought at auctions then deleted them thinking they was gonna get banned and lost millions. there are some very cool themes that we all missed out on maybe if they did a vote on 09 and later once a month it would give us all a chance to get a bit of old mixed with a bit of new and just leave them available as not everyone has tons of money to buy all they need at one given time plus will boost the income for bvg and cause them to create more cool stuff for us. i really don't think it will hurt our yoconomy plus will give the new players coming in to enjoy our world a chance to get some of the older cool themes. sure we all wanna make millions so leave the old 08 & collectibles and anniversary items there for them to do that. its fun to make money in the game but its also just as fun to make great friends and help others learn the game and gain acceptance into our community as this is a escape away from real life for many their main world, so lets just enjoy and be thankful that we have bvg listening and taking care of us. they have done more in the short month than zygna did in 4 years imo have a great weekend every1 Peace.
