Hmmm... mine still seems to be missing.

As others have said on this thread, I'm really baffled by the negative criticism of these badges. I wouldn't have imagined anything so relatively innocent could cause a stir.

Does it really matter who sees your badge? If you don't want to gift someone, don't. If you don't want to deal yocash, don't. The badge doesn't make the wearer into a yocash dispensary. A month is a long time, too. I could have bought yocash on June 3rd and have spent it all by June 5th and the badge would still show up, right? So it is not so much an indication of how much yocash the wearer has currently, only that they supported the game within the last month.

People are taking this far too seriously. They're not displaying bank account information. There is no way for hackers to target based on a badge, right?

Are the naysayers concerned about extra begging? Are they concerned that no one will deal to them if they are already perceived as having yocash? Or that no one will sell items to them at a good price because they are perceived to be rich? This is all so relative and speculative, not to mention limited to the forums.

YoPeople always have to complain about something, and that makes me sad and a bit angry. The badge system is such a small thing in the grand scheme of things, in my opinion.

I think people just don't appreciate wearing the YoCash-buying status as part of our identity like we are now. It's a slight invasion of privacy, and theres a weird emphasis on it which has already resulted in conflict around here ad turned the place on it's head. We get a choice about most things - displaying a siggy, a location, a date of birth. Why no choice to display if we want our badge featured? Just a bit awkward... I hear you though, there is worse things out there. But there is also distracting things that not everybody agrees on and this is one of them

You are not alone. I am with you in your beliefs. The only difference is, I do believe there should be an "opt out" button for those who wish to do so. I want us all to be happy and not argue. We fought together to save this game and everyone should have that choice. I am sure BVG will read this thread and thoughtfully come up with a solution for everyone.

I think people are all about status they hold they're cupid bow with they're nature or Yorothy costumes and before they were released the menorah hats and millions of coins eyes hair etc, I think it's funny that those same "rich" players are now the ones that want the gold badge. I could personally care less but I think it's for forum moderators to notice and give attention to topics from paying customers.

I'm one of those who had yc stocked up from before , when it gets down low I'll buy some more then I'll get a badge

I think that it should be an option since everybody should have a saying over which information to show.
This whole badge thing is very interesting though. If it serves for anything, it shows some people's true colors. Some players have said things rhat I would've never thought I would hear from them. A shame, really.

Just my opinion, and its worth a lot less than a badge I guess..... When I spend money in a real store, I tend not to buy anything that advertises the thing I buy. I dont buy shirts with logos or shoes with a swoop.... I dont buy bags with names emblazoned on them either. I already pay, so why would I advertise? I dont need a badge to say i support this game. BVG knows, I know and the people who buy my yocash items know. Why does anyone else need to? I dont want to advertise that I buy yocash to manipulate someone else into feeling guilty and buying more. That is how i see it, especially after reading the posts where people felt the need to buy cash just to have a badge. I understand the game needs money to carry on. I will continue to support it even if I hate the badges. i just honestly dont understand the need to have a giant badge to set me apart from someone else. it doesnt make me feel good at all.

Should we all just keep our mouths shut and suck it up? I am sure that Greg and the whole gang do not expect us all to act like they crap rainbow glitter. I think you are spot on and this won't do anything but divide players. There are players who would like to buy game cash but the country they live in laws prevent them from being able to buy different Facebook game's cash. I'm surprised BVG seems to want to pit players against each other.
