SO HAPPY to see the return of the old store AND the ability to use the new store but move it out of the way! The new store layout has been cool as you can see more items/inventory & flip through more quickly but...it was in the freakin' way unless you collapsed it. Ugh. I know, 1st World Prob...whatever. I'm glad to see the old store layout return, I will probably go back to that view, we'll see...Thank You 'Viking!!! lml

I would love to see various 'yard' rooms for purchase, similar to the room/hallway additions (very cool, btw). I'd love to see more scenery/background options and floor/ceiling windows. Those that have been released so far have been really cool!

Thank you for the outdoor fireplace released recently, too! Loving that, I would like to see more in different styles. Say, how about a Craftsman or Victorian house for purchase sometime? Or a 'Gangster Hangout' (cabin in the woods...I'm creating one right now but need more decorations that 'fit' the idea). I'd also like to see a return to Paris (a Parisian penthouse facing the Touleries, a champagne vineyard, a chateau modeled after those in the Loire Valley, the French Riviera, a Parisian block with a bakery, cafe'(sidewalk & interior restaurant), perfumier, macaroon store, tourist crap-store and sidewalk performers (summer solstice music festival, very cool), a boat cruise on the river Seine, Notre Dame (pre-fire), Opera Garnier, P`ere Lechaise Cemetery at Halloween would be cool, etc...), a return to Hollywood/The Golden Age with more movie set options, Art Deco apartments with white satin everything/everywhere & furry white rugs, champagne, etc... I still think there should be an Indiana Jones theme that is interactive w/players, hunting treasure/having adventures as the activities through the big-red-gem-thing, too.

OH! I almost forgot...please give us the ability to spin our items around, stopping or positioning from any angle for any room...sometimes you just want to angle a chair in a corner, and not 90-degree angles but 'askew'. 11 years of moving things either back/forth or the same four-way option is beyond tired...I can be more creative in Word or PowerPoint. You all are the computer masters, I'm sure someone can figure this one out in 5 mins or less.

Are they TRYING to get rid of paying decorators and drive People away from the game? Because if the old way of decorating is taken away its quitsville for me, literally...I cant deal with this system at all on my mobile, sayonara, :sick:

I find it very difficult to use with the buttons moved to the top of the screen. I am constantly using My Stuff tab, and scrolling up is horrible on the arm/wrist. This is just like when you moved the Auction House button to the bottom, we could no longer make last minute bids easily as we have to constantly refresh the auction by closing and opening it, and when you moved it during the user interface update it made us have to scroll all over the place. I no longer use the AH as much because of that. I turned off the new editor. There was plenty of room at the bottom to keep those tabs down there. Moving them up -- WHY??? Whoever made this: do you decorate? It's not user friendly.

I had so much lag tonight decorating in the old mode (probably because of the new decor store), it was incredibly frustrating
I was trying to drag items out of my inventory and it'd take a second or two to grab each item. I'm not using the new method, sure I'll give it a try, but the tabs moved to the top make it a no-go for me.

Having to scroll to get the furniture/depot stores and scrolling upwards to the My Stuff/Cart, etc is really a pain and I won't be decorating if I can't use the old way.

WHERE THE HECK HAS MY STUFF GONE IN THIS NEW STORE EDITOR INTERAFACE?! No, really!! I can't find my stuff! I also can't use the drop down menus to sort what I see so I don't know if the option to go through my inventory is in those or not. I didn't even go past looking at it I was so miffed at not being able to get right to my stuff! So I don't know if it lags when you try to drag stuff out or not.

Ok, now I've gone and poked around a bit more I still don't really like it. Can't you give us side to side scrolling for our inventory instead of up and down? I dunno why but the side to side is nicer. Maybe because I don't feel crowded/can spot what I am looking for in a smaller selection more easily? Top to bottoms scrolling always seems to stop with the row you want either half off or half on the screen.

I've tried it a bit, and like that I can find my items that are marked "NEW" so I can screenshot that and go back to Old Edit Mode and find them easier.

One thing I'd recommend, for those of us who edit room over and over, then click save, then open edit again (for instance, those who level up trailers, or those who hoard vaulted items):
-- Let us create a default setting so that every time we open up the new store mode, the stores screen shows up where we last left it, with the window expanded to the size we want it. I am able to get it to the right of the screen, but if I add 3 items to the room, save, then start editing again, I have to click drag it into place again and click same buttons over and over. It is incredibly frustrating. Give us some way to save the way we like it including where the stores are placed. I would NEVER use the "recommended for you" or "popular" buttons. They are useless. The stores I open are Furniture, Depot, and Leaving Soon and sometimes New. That's it. This won't work for everyone, but for those with large screens there seems to be enough room to have it placed on the right. I do not want to have to repeat that step over and over though. If it were always over there, it isn't so far from the My Stuff tab so it's not as much an issue of moving back and forth. Whatever you do, never get rid of the old way of editing room.

Make it like a saved outfit, a saved edit mode preferences setting.

I'm in too much pain to play with this right now. I really want to, but even normal decorating isn't easy atm. I really shouldn't be playing at all right now until I get a good desk chair, but, hey, you know. Escape and all that. I don't think my neck can take any further bending and things. For whatever reason, the old way just works.

also you should bring back the old way to find stuff in your home...

please listen to the players .. it getting out of hand ... :idea:

I read the feedback here, gave it a try as soon as you announced this update and returned to the "old way of decorating" because:
- items don't come right out of inventory, i have to hover the mouse over inventory twice and then it doubles the item (one from my inventory, one appears to buy)
- i'm too used to clicking and i don't like scrolling over that short area
- i don't like dragging that window around, seems silly to me. might be that i'm not used to that thing, but I don't like it at all..

Today I started "building" a vintage house.. saved a bit of it, refreshed and went back to decorate. Placed around 20 more tiles and then I thought I'd like to add some white accents, but wasn't sure what item to use.. so decided to click the "new store" button to use the new sorting feature.... why did it not warn me it would remove everything I had added so far?

I mean.. the game is full of pop ups but not one for this?

Now I have to place all that again.

the OLD way has not went anywhere. U can change it back by clicking on your cog wheel at top of screen.

I do not like it. It does not enhance my playing on my iPhone as I still cannot decorate. I also cannot find my stuff!!

How do I get to my inventory? When I open Decorate Room all I get are the stores. There is no My Stuff link to choose. Thank You.
