No I have no problems with homes being re-released because they hold no value, but I do hope they stick to their word on old themes not being re-released again.

I totally agree! I missed out on some awesome themes because I lost interest in yoville back in 2010. No clothes just furniture. As far as rare items go... That is what a collectible is for.

I know the people wanting rereleases have money, so why don't they just buy the item off of someone???
Please understand you had the chance to buy stuff if you would have been playing because nothing else could stop you from missing a theme. I can relate because I missed out on themes only because I didn't wanna play anymore. I obviously didn't care about supporting the game at the time so I don't think I should whine because I didn't wanna paly.

It's not whining. It is just simply making a statement! Not everyone got a chance to buy them. Everyone that joined the game after the themes were discontinued didn't have a chance to buy them. Plus these items would be new to a lot of players. Thus bringing in yo cash money for BVG. I know that I would be buying yo cash to spend on the NYC
theme, flapper theme, Miami and all of the more elegant themes. It just doesn't make sense to me from a business stand point not to keep them open. Again the items would be new to all players that joined after they discontinued the theme and it would allow more money to be brought in through yo cash will with less work than creating new themes. Now I am not saying don't create new theme because all they have to do is open the themes and continue to work on new themes.

I agree Mike. And it seems like no matter how they word it in black and white. People still don't get it.

I'm pretty sure they won't go back on their word. They said they understand that item rarity is important.

I don't think they will also but it would be nice to get just the furniture from the themes that Zynga closed out this time last year in their cash grab rush. I think if Zynga didn't pull the money grab stunt, those themes would still be open but, que sera sera.

I'm getting a little bored without some decorating now. :D

Oh, I take his word for it Golden Mikey. I know he isn't going to open those stores up. That doesn't mean I am all for opening them up. I was on the fence about this until I read his financial statements. I could have cared less.
Now, they need the revenue. It should say something that Greg chooses to keep them closed even though it's hurting him. He's an honorable man who listens to his players.

I so agree with you both....we all missed themes...we have all paid big money after market for some of the items we missed...BVG respects this...can we please stop beating this dead horse? It is getting obnoxious.

I say No! They have already said they will not do that so if they do then they will lose a lot of credibility and people start wondering what will be next.
Just have patience we will get a new theme. If you really want items from themes you missed to decorate with why not go to sales you can usually find almost any thing you want at them.

I don't think we will ever not hear that word. Most people just don't get that they aren't doing them.

Maybe they will not re-open a theme, but it sure would be nice if they made some of the more popular items from the theme available. Fair compromise?
