ikr. Anybody who knows me knows I am always hunting some random obscure item that nobody has or even cares about lol.

unfortunately, the word rare was thrown onto anything that sellers wanted more coins for... rare is suppose to mean hard to find.. rare does not mean any 08, thrones, stages or the like lol... in yo, rare means you need more coins ...

exactly I have seen ppl posted most rare item like the magic top hat...next thing you know bunch of ppl post they have it, lol nothing is rare in this game because almost all players on here have it the only thing rare in this game is me lol

I think the only items that can be truly classified as rare are the ones coming out of the 1000 and 2500 coin and yocash thingys that you click to spin and see what you won. Items from there are classified as rare, like the grand piano for one, uncommon and common. I think that is the
true definition of rare. A lot of collectibles are sold as rares but I think they should just be called collectibles.

I will say those damn brown shag rugs took me the longest to find. I consider those rare!

Pretty much anytime anything goes discontinued people are calling it "rare". Ironically enough back in 09 when there was more people playing is probably when the most items got purchased in game. So a lot of that stuff that is called "rare", there is probably tons of it in game. I do believe that word is overused in the game.

I have been to rare sales where a seller is selling like 50 thrones all crammed into one room. I always leave these sales as I often think something hinky is going on.

I laugh if I go to a rare sale and its Mafia stuff.. Pls, thats about as rare as a pimple on my yobutt.

What is rare? I find furniture I just wont pay the prices normally. I think we have a lot of people holding items - in hopes of huge price jumps.

i think the term is wrongly used in this game. looking around you can tell most of the items are not actually rare at all but rather, highly sought after . there are plenty of other items in this game that are much harder to find for sale i have been looking for the alice in wonderland deck of cards arch for a year now.

I thought the trend at labeling something 'rare' that wasn't, started when Z decided to discontinue themes. Seemed as soon as stuff left the store, 'ooo it's rare.'

Ever since events came back I have noticed most rare sales have mafia dining tables and gold bars.

i agreed with op .. whenever i see "rare items for sale" events , i dont go because i dont know what i'm about to see and dont think i will be interested to buy
