I was a major YoAngel on the Wishlist in 2009/2010. I've cleared people's wish lists and the next day they'd have another 50 items on it (back then we can give more than 4 items). Frankly I just ignore them now. Been burnt so many times, spent so much real money on strangers and the greed killed the YoAngels.

I usually only have 4 or 5 items, never in my siggie though. But either way, I don't see it as greedy, I see it as "wishful thinking"

I try not to have too much of an opinion on it.
It is a very touchy subject.

I don't know if it's wrong for them to want such items,it may be seen as rude or cheeky to ask for so many things, it doesn't mean they will get all of them but at the same time does that mean they won't appreciate it as much as someone who has the same thing and only one or two additional items in their wishlist?

I don't really care about it much but I do get a laugh when someone has about 8 items or so all pricing millions a piece. I mean, sure if someone wants to give then that's cool with me, but seems a bit far fetched to be putting every 08 costume in a wishlist.

Personally, I view it as a polite way of begging IMHO ;)

I have no problem with wishlists, i use to have one myself, it only changed when i'd either saved for or been lucky enough to be gifted though. I don't have one anymore because i feel like i've already been so blessed. Would feel greedy to ask for more. I still have wishes, but i will work for them. :) I have found wishlists quite helpful in the past though. Sometimes you want to gift someone but have no idea what they have or even want.

i never take notice of wishlist sigs... to me some not all but some are just doing it knowing full well they may get it and are begging for it, havent been on this forums wishlist section as in 09/10 i gifted a fair few and as was already said they change it soon after they got... it was all want, want, want and is just an indirect way of begging to me, but thats imo  and thats what im sticking too

Well I always say in my wishlist that those items are also in my WTB list and if they don't feel like gifting, just shoot me a pm and i'll pay for it ;)

Ps: I never put Wl items in my siggy. ;)

wishlists don't bother me. if they did I just wouldn't go to wish list section. I give when I feel like it. and once the gift leaves my hand and is given
to another yo whatever they do with it is fine with me. i guess i'm a bit selfish cause the feeling i get when i give is great! if you wan to sell my
gift or even give it to someone else, i don't care because it does not belong to me anymore. my simple thinking. less stress this way.

About the Wishlist.. Sometimes I ask for a lot, but I don't expect anyone to give anything to me.

Occasionally, it bothers me to see +50 items or something lol.
It usually doesn't bother me though :)

But anyways, I am really grateful to the YoAngels <3

Sakura Amber (2873681) wrote:This issue was a big debate at one of the auctions I was recently at and I would love to see what others think.

How do you guys feel about people constantly changing their wishtlist in their siggy? Do you guys think it is considered greedy? Or when people have 20+ things on their wishlist in the Wishlist section, is that considered to many things to ask for? What do you think is an appropriate amount to ask for? Should people even ask for free things? I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on this...

I think wishlists are great for newer players, but when I see someone has been playing here for 3-5 years and have every most expensive item on their list you can think of, I kind of shake my head a bit...just how I feel I guess....I would never have a wishlist...maybe a wish to buy list.....but ask outright for things at this stage of the game? Mmmmmmm...no.

To me a 'wish' mostly refers to something I can't afford or I can't find easily.

People can have many wishes I don't have any problem with that but I have to admit that super huge lists usually push me back when I am gifting that I honestly don't know why. It's just the way i feel can't name it.
