Yep. I'm the same way. I've actually run into a few people lately who have asked about something a split second after me and were gracious enough to not fight for it and allow me to buy. I try and do the same if it happens to me the other way. So, at least there's some balance out there in Yo

The night BVG did the first re-release...I was selling yo-cash items at pretty fair prices and down to my last stuff. I had just re-posted for one of the items for a good deal and a guy came in. Clearly he was the first and first thing he said is "I Will Take". Well...next thing you know all He$% breaks loose at my event and so first thing I do is end it. The I told everyone look...I am in trade and it's the last one...the event is closed. So they all said we will stay and see if trade goes through. LOL..so I said OK but told them...if the trade doesn't work then I will go back to the log and see who asked next...specifically to buy and give first chance in order. They all said cool. Well my poor buyer then tries to trade me......of course 20 others are still trying to trade me like I won't remember my buyers name....lol...but I do pay attention. Anyhow...he cancels the trade 5 times. I tell him to go refresh and I will hold it for him. He says...:no you won't you will let them buy it!!!!" I told him go refresh. Meanwhile...everyone else starts saying after he leaves..."he loses.... my turn"......" I will pay you 5 times your price right now" yadda. yadda. Anyhow...he finally makes it back and we do the trade and he says"OMG...I am in shock". The guys who offered me 5 times the price said" SMH your a dumb b%^&(!" But the nice thing about his "tude" was that it came mostly from the fact that he found there are some who won't respect him and think he's "Mr/Big". Ego bruise.

Ha...the thing about us older and more opinionated players is that we know people in the game pretty well now. Most of us play pretty nice but we are not short on experience to deliver a good lesson to people now and then. So when someone gets to you in the game....remember that somewhere else....someone just like him is being paid a visit from Karma.

Yesterday someone decided to sell an item because the person offered 50k over me. Seriously? I get there first and it takes 50k for you to break your word? Even if it is a game, we should all know the basics. I have a list of names in my head, I am like Arya Stark and name them before going to bed. Ok, not that bad but I do remember their names. Never will I do business with them. Ever.

Yesterday I was at an event where somebody was selling interactive spider attack which I always wanted and you have lots of halloween, you know it is not easy to come by at any price, this one was at 2.5m I said I would buy first and ended up with people offering up to 3.5 and seller kicked me. Rare thing was then I bought one for 1.3m an hour later. Glad the 3.5 kicked me anyways but won't trade with her again.

I agree I just pay the AH fee usually ppl are rude.

It's very annoying! Even when I'm selling and someone else comes I'm asking to buy the items it's like no. You came second you're not getting it, I don't care how much you pay more.

I COMPLETELY agree! Ugh, it is so so rude when people do that! I hate it! It shouldn't matter if someone would pay more, it was who was there first & wanted to buy it. :evil:

I'm guilty of going on interactives. I haven't played for a couple of years and don't know what the newer items are or what the recent interactives do. I need to try them out, work out exactly what they are and check the price guides. I often get kicked when I ask what something is, or while I'm checking price guides.

I'm also guilty of poofing without speaking - usually when I go to a sale that was advertised as rares and collectibles and when you get there it's just freebies and ordinary items. That drives me batty!
