And seriously...like it or not this game is comprised of two groups...those who pay and those who do not...all good with me but I don't think anyone should be whining, complaining or demanding things from BVG and expecting it to be a priority for them if they are not an actual customer....it's pretty basic business savvy.

This is expressed very well.
Took my complete thoughts about the opinion out of my head!
These badges are good to recognize players who support the game, sure.
But they also divide the people who do and don't which is just like the division between
rich and poor. I completely agree that people who are playing this game is supporting it.
Sure there is a good bit of players who buy yocash, but there is a large portion
that do not buy it.. and without them, they would not have as many players.
So yes, everyone who plays is a supporter, and should be treated with the same respect!

100 percent agree. I am tired of people telling me i do not support the game. I have in the past and will once i run out of my current yocash and once they start putting out full themes to my liking. I spend my yocash wisely and slowly.

That's why I pushed so hard to be able to hide my badge.

It's only creating more divide in an already divided
social world.

You can hide your badge. Check your forum settings under edit display options it's right there

Edited to add I don't understand why anyone would want that thing showing- ain't nobody's business if and how much money I spend way I see it

<<< yes my badge is hidden, has been since we had the ability to hide it.
But what I meant was. I knew this was going to end up with a lot of very negative
connotations.

We are equal. YoCash buyers and Non YoCash buyers. We need both for the game to survive.

Without the people who need YoCash, I would have no one to sell it to and I would buy less.
So I think we need to give badges to the players who do not buy yocash. They are supporting
the game most through hard work.

As a YC Dealer. All I do is click a button....

in all of this... BVG was contacted by players.. pages were made... SAVE OUR YOVILLE ... they didn't go and ask to buy it out of the blue...

where is that mentioned in here?

yes, they are a business, and they need to make money to be a business...

So some of you think the game will survive without the people who don't buy yocash directly?

You might like what she says now but I remember how you spoke about your badge that first day and how many rights it gave you since you were better than a "freeloader". I toldyou that day and I say it again, I never forget. You have been one of the people that have treated players who don't pay like they are worthless. Either you didn't read the post or you changed overnight and nobody changes overnight.

Same here, and I certainly won't be buying just to maintain a badge, have a great day

I don't care who buys what. I'll buy when there is stuff I want. Period. If peer pressure was the goal with these new badges, they have sorely miscalculated at least one player.

if the yocash buying players buy enough yocash and keep the rate low enough so that the coin earning player can earn for free enough coins to get every yocash item, then yes, the game may survive

i wanted to hide my badge and i did for a few weeks. this game is already divided. i mentioned in several post yocash seller needs coin players/coin buyers need yocash sellers. i was tired of comments of players calling others greedy

I remember seeing tons of folks pledge on BVG's wall to buy YoCash if they saved the game. BVG legitimately expects us to do that. On the other hand, the coin players also create a demand for YoCash. I have a gold badge, sure, but it would've been bronze or maybe no badge if it weren't for coin players looking to buy something that was a YoCash item in combination with myself needing a few extra coins. We all play an important role in supporting the game. The YoCash dealers spend a lot of real money just to exchange it to coin players who don't pay out of pocket. Sure, YoCash sales would probably be considerably higher if we all bought our own cash, but they would be lower without the folks who have tons of coins!

Ooo sorry, I misunderstood. So you can hide your badge but it still shows the "supporter" bit....
well that's useless, innit?

Same. For me it's the opposite actually. Peer pressure just makes me sick. I am sure many players were buying yocash and this badge thing made them rethink but there's also those who give in to peer pressure. Double edge sword I guess.
